Bab 100: Nightmare
A while later~
Thirteen watched the Train reach the Puffing Tom, but it was only half of the train with the rest ahead even further.
Zoro stepped out and slashed at the train cart, de-railing it so that the train could continue.
Thirteen watched as he laid back and tapped his foot in the air, humming to himself. He was completely relaxed but brimming with anger. It was extremely strange.
The reason why Thirteen hadn't taken over was because he was still incredibly angry at Robin's betrayal. He was out for blood. He wanted to kill the CP9 agents and Robin.
It was even more intense than normal as when he first met her he was going to kill her but let her go because they were alike in quite a few aspects. As he got to know her he was 'happy' he didn't kill her before, as they were good friends.
But it was all an act.
She betrayed him and the crew.
It was added onto the fact that Thirteen felt even more angry because they were friends. He regretted not killing her when they were at Alabasta. He had already been upset about Usopp leaving but he held himself back, fighting off his other self constantly.
That night he was trying to calm himself down on the balcony when Zoro arrived. He went to find Robin because he was thinking that she was going to hurt herself like she had tried before.
The other him would describe this as 'Worried'.
Currently, Thirteen was 'sleeping' inside his own mind, radiating pure rage from his body as the other him took control of the body.
As to why he didn't wake up, it was because he quite literally couldn't. He could hear but he was locked in darkness. He was sleeping while awake, stuck inside his own mind as the other him took the opportunity and suppressed him to his light world as the darkness devoured the edges, coming closer and closer to eating everything.
The other him laughed to himself as the Train came to a gate. He stood up and saw the Marine base along with the Puffing Tom.
He jumped off the building and shot into the Marine base, before anyone could react and realize he was there the whole time.
Luffy frowned and jumped in after him.
Thirteen landed on the ground and looked around at the Marines, he shook his arms and grabbed the chains, spinning one by his side as he chuckled "Hello puppies~" The Marines pointed their guns at him, shouting "It's the Escaped Slave!"
Thirteen laughed hysterically and shot out the spinning chain before they could react.
The knife flew through the air and stabbed a Marine in the head, killing him instantly.
They were all stunned and Thirteen cackled "LET THE SHOW BEGIN~! HEHAHAIHIHEIHAIHEIHEI~!" he charged at the marines and spun his chains around him, slashing the marines, killing dozens at a time.
He slashed upwards, knocking a marine in the air before throwing his knives at him and pulling himself into the air. He kneed the marine in the chin and blasted his head to pieces as he laughed and licked the blood off his lips with an intoxicated expression.
He threw his knives into a building and pulled himself through the wall, shouting crazily "Come out, come out, wherever you areeeee~ Hiehieheihieheiheiheihheihe~"
Everywhere he went, blood flowed like rivers.
Luffy landed amongst the blood and frowned harder before looking at the tall building ahead of him and deciding to save Robin first. He would deal with Thirteen later.
Thirteen landed in front of a marine, who was trembling in fear, holding a snail that was screaming "WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN THERE!?" the Marine turned white as Thirteen appeared in front of him like a ghost.
He crouched and patted the Marine's head, saying eerily "Awe~ You called for more blood bags to come! You're my favorite~ Hiheheiheiheiheiheiehahaha~" as he licked his lips.
The Marine shouted "Spare me! Please!" Thirteen chuckled and replied "Nope~! Hehe Your blood must flow! After all… it's so delicious~!" the snail went silent before shouting "WHO ARE YOU!?"
Thirteen grabbed the Marine's head and the snail before saying "Hello~? Who is speaking~" the snail replied "Leader of CP9, SPANDAM! WHO ARE YOU?! I ORDER YOU TO STOP RIGHT NOW!"
Thirteen burst out laughing and grinned, looking at the snail, who trembled in fear.
Inside the Tower of Justice~
Spandam was staring at the snail in rage as Lucci, Kalifa, Kaku, Robin, another 3 CP9 agents, and a man with blue hair were looking at him.
Robin and the man with blue hair were chained up.
The snail spoke back with a crazy expression in its eyes "Yummy~ Cipher Pol agents. Those are my favorite toys… Mr. Cipher Pol leader, do you have tasty blood?" Spandam felt his entire spine shiver and he stayed silent.
Robin's pupils constricted and she said "Oh no!" the Blue haired man looked at her and asked "What do you mean?" Lucci and the rest looked at her and she trembled.
The snail paused it's laughter and said "Hmmm… The traitor is there too… Hello~ Marine man, I'll let you live if you tell me where this Spandex guy is~"
Spandam shouted quickly "Don't you da-" but before he could finish, the snail conveyed another voice "He-He's up in the Tower of Justice! A-At the Top Floor!" the snail's voice changed and spoke again "Thank you kindly Marine man… Hehehe"
The room went silent as a bloodcurdling scream was heard along with a thud.
Lucci frowned and grabbed the snail from Spandam, saying "Who are you?" the snail suddenly grinned, the grin was extremely cruel and wide, nearly splitting the snail in half as it said "Me? You don't remember? I'm the little itty bitty slave you chained up with the traitor… heheheh~ Though… The slave is currently sleeping. You can call me…"
Thirteen was tossing a heart in his hands as he tilted his head, looking at the snail, before crushing the heart to mush, answering "Nightmare." he grinned cruelly and added "And as soon as I get there… I'll be yours." as he crushed the snail and skipped through the blood pools, laughing insanely.
The connection cut off in the room and Lucci looked at Robin, asking "What is this?" Robin's complexion was white and she spoke after some hesitation "I didn't expect this."
Spandam slapped her and shouted "Didn't expect what!?" with a furious face.
The blue haired man shouted "Hey! Spanda, don't hit a woman!" Spandam punched him and shouted back "Shut up, Cutty Flam! When we get Pluton's blueprints, I'll flay your skin!"
Cutty Flam was actually the boss of the Franky Family, Franky!
Franky sneered and replied "I don't know what you're talking about."
Lucci picked up Robin and said "This was the half-breed slave that you chained to the seastone pillar. How could he have escaped?" Robin sneered, "I left the key, otherwise he would've died in Aqua Lagoona."
Lucci threw her to the ground and she coughed, adding "I only heard rumors about this before, to think it was true… I messed up." Franky looked at her and asked "What are you talking about, Devil Woman?"
Robin explained "Thirteen…" she paused before continuing "Thirteen was once a slave, but he was very young and his personality split. He talks to himself sometimes, even though he normally doesn't talk at all. I've heard from the crew that his split personality can take over and is extremely cruel, I didn't think it was possible but…"
She shook her head and Franky looked at her, saying "What the fuck! And he thinks you're an enemy?" Robin laughed at herself and stayed on the ground, not answering.
Franky turned his head away and ignored her sulking self.
Spandam shouted into another snail "Reinforcements! Get down there!" the marine replied "Chief! There's no reinforcements left! They're either dead or dying! The Strawhats are here! Even the Giants changed sides! They're coming for the Tower of Justice!"
Spandam was stunned and shouted quickly "Where's the Slave?!" The marine man replied "I don't know! But Straw Hat himself is-" he abruptly stopped and a low chuckle was heard before a weak voice "Chief, Straw Hat is at the Top of the Judicial Buildi-" before a crunch was heard and a mutter followed "Damn blood bags, struggling doesn't make you beautiful."
A tall man with his hair styled into horns stood up and left the room.
Spandam was panicking now and shouted "Go! Go kill him!" Lucci looked at him emotionlessly and he shouted again "I'm your leader!" Lucci snorted and sat down, ignoring him.
Franky laughed at him "Spanda, looks like your own agents even think you're useless! Haha!" Spandam trembled in anger and roared "SHU-" before the man that had just left, came flying through the wall and smashed into the wall behind Spandam.
Lucci looked at the man and muttered "Blueno?!"
Blueno was embedded in the wall with a fist mark on his chest, his eyes were white and he was completely unconscious.
The group looked at Blueno before hearing a deafening shout "ROOOOBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!"
They came to the balcony and looked down at Luffy, who was standing on one of the spires with his arms crossed.
Robin and Franky were standing on the Balcony too as Robin shouted "Go away! I don't want to see you!" Luffy was silent as Robin added "I just want to die!" Luffy narrowed his eyes and the roof of the judicial building exploded.
Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, and Sogeking (Usopp) jumped out of the hole, landing on the spires looking up at the Tower of Justice as Luffy said "I don't care. I'm here to save you."
Spandam burst out laughing as he pointed at Robin, saying "Do you know what she is?! A curse! Her entire home was destroyed by a Buster Call and she's been on the run ever since!"
Robin bit her lips and shouted "I don't want you to save me! Eventually you'll abandon me, just like everyone else! I don't want that! Just leave me alone!"
Spandam slapped her and sneered "Don't shout over me!" He turned to Luffy, who's pupils were as tiny as pins. His body radiated invisible waves, washing over the entire Enies Lobby.
Spandam was scared stiff, he gulped and pointed at the flag on top of the Tower of Justice, shouting with false confidence "You know what that flag is?! That's her enemy! The entire world!"
Luffy turned his attention to the flag and said solemnly "Sogeking." Sogeking replied "Yes?" Luffy added "Shoot down that flag." Sogeking took aim and replied "Understood."
He shot a flaming bullet from his slingshot that turned into a firebird and pierced the flag, burning it to ashes.
Spandam was stunned and shouted in fear "DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID?! YOU JUST DECLARED WAR ON THE ENTIRE WORLD!"
Luffy roared "BRING IT ON!"
Suddenly!
Nightmare landed on the top of the judicial roof and ran forward, gripping his daggers in reverse. He cackled crazily as he jumped from the roof into the air at the Tower of Justice, stunning everyone.
He reeled his arms back and laughed "Let's have some fun~ AHAHAHAHEAHAHAIHAIHAHAIHA~!"
He threw his daggers into the Tower of Justice and pulled himself in the air, shooting towards the top floor with a bloodthirsty expression.
Franky threw a bundle of papers in Spandam's face and sneered "See ya, Spanda." before blowing fire at him, burning the papers to a crisp as he punched the balcony, destroying it and falling down.
Nightmare's laugh resonated in the air as the Train from before blasted through the Judicial building towards the Tower of Justice.
Luffy dragged everyone and jumped down, catching Franky at the same time. Zoro looked up at Nightmare and frowned, Luffy looked up before saying seriously "Deal with him later…"
Franky said "Yo! What's going on?" Luffy explained what happened and Franky gasped "Oh boy! That woman is in trouble then." Luffy and the rest were confused as they landed in the Tower of Justice.
Franky said "That crazy guy is going to kill Nico Robin…" he explained what he heard and the crew gasped in shock, Luffy looked at Zoro and Sanji before saying seriously "Go. Hurry. I will go after Robin and Thirteen."
Zoro and Sanji immediately bolted, ignoring the giant egg-shaped CP9 agent.
Luffy ran away saying "Thanks, Franky!" Franky nodded and waved before punching his fists together, saying "Fighting to save a woman is a man's romance!" before jumping at the Egg-man, punching him in the face before he could say anything.
Nami and Chopper started moving too as Franky said "This guy has a key! I remember that Nico Robin had seastone handcuffs! Maybe the other ones have keys too! Tell those other guys!"
Meanwhile, Sogeking disappeared.
Rewind time back a bit.
The balcony exploded and the agents jumped back with Spandam grabbing Robin.
Lucci jumped into the air and transformed into a Leopard man. Nightmare chuckled "You look like a kitty too~! I like you." Lucci ignored him and poked forward.
Nightmare spun in the air and slashed at Lucci with his daggers, laughing crazily.
Lucci ducked and looked at Nightmare with an emotionless look.
He stood there, kicking the air before disappearing and stomping on Nightmare's stomach.
Nightmare didn't expect him to be so fast and was sent flying away.
Lucci turned around and disappeared into the Tower of Justice quickly, while the rest of the agents ran into the building as well.
Nightmare stopped in the air and chuckled to himself "Bad kitty~ Hehehe" before stomping behind him and shooting into the building, sniffing the air as he went to search for Lucci and Robin, who were coincidentally in the same location.
