Bab 87: Aokiji's Motive?
Thirteen looked at the man in silence as Luffy shouted "Who are you!?" the man looked at Luffy and yawned "I'm a friend of your gramps." Luffy scratched his head and said "So you're a nice guy?"
The man scratched his head and answered "I like to think so." Luffy smiled and said "Nice to meet you!" The man was stunned and nodded, "Nice to meet you too, I guess." Luffy smiled and nodded before saying to Thirteen "Let's go back to the ship."
Thirteen looked at the man, who blinked and said "Woah! Wait, wait, wait. He can't go." as he pointed at Thirteen. Luffy looked and frowned "Why not." the man smiled "He's a huge criminal. Bigger than anyone ever. He's a really bad person and I hate his guts."
Luffy was stunned, as was the rest of the crew, looking at Thirteen, wondering what he did to this guy. Robin looked over at Thirteen before back at the man before it clicked, he was here for them.
She started shivering more intensely as she wondered if they were gonna end up in the same place.
Usopp couldn't help himself and asked "What did he do?" the crew looked at the man, who rubbed his chin and slowly answered "Well, he escaped Mariejois, killed a dozen nobles, several hundreds of slaves, and raped a World Nobe." he counted on his fingers before adding "Oh right! Then he burnt down several villages, killed all the people there, killed hundreds of marines, killed several Cipher Pol members, almost destroyed Alubarna…"
Then he scratched his head and muttered "Was there anything else? I don't think so…"
The crew was stunned yet again, but Nami shouted in anger "He didn't do all those things! You're framing him!" the man looked at her and said blankly "So?" Nami choked on her words and the man turned to Robin before looking at Thirteen, adding "I know he didn't, the only thing he truly did was kill a Noble, but I don't make the rules. Also, quite frankly, I don't care."
Sanji asked "If you don't care then why are you here?"
The man replied "Honestly, l came here to see where Nico Robin ended up… I didn't expect you were actually bringing along the Mink. I find it quite hard to believe that you have both together on the same ship…" he turned to Thirteen in the air, adding "Your master misses you quite a bit."
Thirteen looked at the man, as cool as a cucumber.
Luffy shook and shouted "SHUT UP!" as he struggled free and jumped to the ground, punching at the man. The man stood there and looked at him, Luffy punched him in the face and the man exploded into ice.
Luffy jumped back and muttered "Can everyone do that nowadays?" The man reformed and sighed "Can't you just give up peacefully?" Thirteen looked down from the sky and threw Usopp and Chopper to the ship.
He disappeared and ran past the Merry, in the air.
The man watched him and said "See? He'll run if he can-" his words froze as Thirteen reeled his arm back and punched the chain blocking the Merry.
The giant ship swayed violently on the ocean as Thirteen grabbed the chain and ripped it at the crack he made when he punched. He grabbed the paw and looked at the giant ship before throwing it at them.
He stood in the air and turned around to the man, who raised a brow.
The crew looked at Thirteen, who waved at them to run away. They felt uncomfortable.
Robin looked at Thirteen, who disappeared and reappeared in front of Luffy, looking at the man with his back to everyone else. The man looked at Thirteen and said with a blank face "You're gonna make a big sacrifice?"
Thirteen looked at him and nodded.
The man's mouth twitched into a lazy smile as he said "I met with her." Thirteen tilted his head and the man disappeared, reappearing right in front of Thirteen, kneeing him in the stomach as he leaned over and added "She's a real piece of work. I'm Aokiji."
Thirteen grabbed Aokiji's leg and coughed out blood, turning his head to Luffy behind him as he said hoarsely "Run." Luffy was stunned and unresponsive for a moment as Thirteen twisted Aokiji's leg, shattering it.
He kicked his other leg and broke that one too before jumping in the air and roundhouse kicking his head.
Aokiji's pupils constricted as he blocked with his arms covered in a black shine. His legs reformed instantly and he slid across the ice. He looked at Thirteen with strange eyes and Thirteen turned to Luffy, saying again "Run." before lunging at Aokiji.
