Bab 40: Plans

Jarden listened as his father explained the call to the Synthians. He still couldn’t believe that the stories were all true. The legends told to them as children were not legends at all. What else had they been misled about?

Oh, he knew not to be angry at the adults. They had been fooled as well. Generations of Dianthians had not known the truth of their past. They were just as shocked as he was. Everything had to be rethought and possibly relearned.

Callie was there. She was in the mythical Synthia. She was interacting with the very Synthians he thought were only in stories. Was she okay? Yes, the call said she was, but he couldn’t see to know for sure. He had to know beyond a shadow of a doubt.

“What is the plan?” he asked when Stephen finished talking to the others.

“Plan?” His father frowned. “We wait.”
