"There are no serious injuries, it's just that Nusa is physically weak and that probably stems from the fact that she hasn't eaten yet."
"So Nusa is all right, sister?"
"Yeah, there's nothing to worry about, tell El so you don't have to worry too much. I want to go out first, excuse me."
//
"Look, El, did you hear what the nurse said to me? Nusa is fine, don't overdo it even though I'm panicking about this incident."
El who had been watching every corner of Nusa's face, which was very innocent and peaceful, immediately turned to the source of the sound, he saw Reza sitting on a folding chair opposite the health mattress that Nusa was sleeping on.
"Yes, I heard," he answered briefly.
Reza looked at his friend. El's two eyes could never lie even though the walls of his defense were thickening which in a sense would likely restore his flat face. "El, do you have feelings for Nusa?" He had known El for a long time, and the behavior of his friend since Nusa was found unconscious, was not a trait that belonged to El.
Hearing the question that jumped away from the situation, El raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" he asked in a voice that sounded slightly surprised.
"Yeah, I mean, what do you mean? You've never been like that except with your mom and dad, don't forget Alvira. But this is Nusa, El, he's someone else."
"So?"
"In a sense, an El is worried about other people? It's not you. And if it's you, Nusa has made changes in you without you knowing it."
El also feels that since meeting Nusa, he doesn't look like he used to. But for Reza's question about himself liking Nusa, oh come on he doesn't have feelings like that, maybe not yet? who knows.
"I don't like Nusa," El answered while shrugging his shoulders reflexively.
Reza sighed, then nodded his head because it's useless to ask someone who doesn't have feelings for him. "Huh whatever you say El, your answer is still the same. It's better to talk to Alvira than talk to you, you are more complicated than girls," he said, ruffling his hair in frustration.
El did not respond to what Reza said, his head turned back to Nusa.
"And where has Mario gone? Haven't seen him since, even though he only bought tea and bread." Reza muttered while glancing at the clock on the wall, then sighed because his so-called best friend never came back. "You're here with Nusa, I'm a thousand percent sure if Mario eats first." he continued, rising from his seat.
Seeing Reza move, El also rose from his seat. "Please bring a piece of bread for Nusa," he said as he reached into his pocket and handed him blue money (fifty thousand rupiahs) bill that looked still smooth.
Reza looked at El, then shook his head. "Can't you eat anything other than bread?" he said with a chuckle. "Nusa may need rice, but bread can't fill the stomach."
Slightly grimaced, also true with what Reza said. "Sorry, then buy anything, it's up to you," replied El.
"Okay El, I'll be right back here, unlike Mario who doesn't know where."
"Yeah, just make the change."
"Yes, Boss!"
After that, El saw Reza who came out of the School Health Unit's room, disappeared behind the tightly closed door again.
Staring at Nusa was the most peaceful thing he'd ever done, he thought, then wondered why this girl was in the pool until it was locked. There were many questions, but surely after Nusa came to his senses, not a single question could represent any thoughts in his head.
"Ugh..."
El gasped when he saw Nusa who had started to move his eyeballs, then slowly began to open and make their eyes collide with each other.
Nusa was still directing her gaze because suddenly light entered her eyes. "It's an angel in heaven, huh? Why is there a handsome angel beside me?" She asked, sounding ridiculous.
El raised an eyebrow, angel in the context of unknown gender for girls and angels for boys? "Nonsense," he answered as he got up from his seat, he changed position to stand beside the girl's health mattress.
Hearing the icy tone of voice, Nusa could guess who was by her side. "Bara?"
"You're wrong, I'm El." replied poor El.
Suddenly, Nusa immediately got up from her sleep and hugged El's body very tightly. All she knew was cold, dark, and lonely. None of the students wanted to be locked in there, but that already made her feel scared.
El who has never been hugged by another girl immediately stiffens, hey, he's a cold guy who is untouchable by the opposite sex. Usually, when Priska holds on to his arm, he immediately dodges so that the girl doesn't touch him carelessly. But Nusa... didn't he realize that he had treated the girl with the 'special' category?
"You owe me a story," said El who was still asking for clarity from all this.
Nusa's chest seemed to move up and down, she still maintained her position, which was hugging El's body while nodding her head in slow motion.
There was no answer from Nusa, just nodded his head. El did not know what to do, finally decided to remain silent without returning this girl's hug.
"Ekhem, the longer it takes, the more it sticks like a caterpillar clinging to a leaf."
Suddenly a baritone voice was heard which made El immediately move Nusa's body away from his body. "Sorry," he said to the girl in front of him.
He turned to the source of the sound and found Reza and Mario, each of whom brought what El ordered, they walked towards him and Nusa.
El sat back down as if the hug had never happened even though it was very warm, pressed against his body.
"Don't be like that, Rio. We're disturbing them," said Reza, because he saw El who immediately sharpened his gaze.
Mario shrugged as if he didn't know anything. "I'm not interfering, I'm just afraid that Nusa will fall in love with a frozen heart. Come on Nusa, it's better to be with me," he said in a joking voice, he had nothing to say seriously.
El just rolled his eyes, then preferred to play with the cellphone that was placed on the table.
"Please, eat first," said Reza, handing him a box of rice he got from Alvira. Don't ask how it happened, but he was very happy today.
Mario nodded his head. "Yes, you eat first, bad health for you if you eat late since yesterday," he said as he placed the cup of hot tea on El's side table.
Nusa has also returned to her position, she is sitting on the health mattress with her face still pale. Showing a small smile for Reza and Mario. "Thank you, you guys have been very kind to me." She said in a low voice.
They both nodded their heads, then Mario walked to Nusa to whisper one thing to the girl. "El sent us, he cares about you," he whispered in the smallest possible voice.
And at that moment, Nusa immediately turned to El who was already focused on staring into the online game on his cellphone. She smiled a little, her heart warmed to hear the attention of the man who had a cold nature on her.
