Bab 13: Chapter Thirteen: The Empire of the Blood Moon
Six years pass in the blink of an eye, and in that time, the advancements in the game, the power of the players, and Eris's own strength grows exponentially. Countries and empires blanket almost every single map in the game, and wars are a constant. And the most powerful of all the countries in the world of Legend Conquerors Online, is Amaris, the Empire of the Blood Moon.
Amaris is the name of the empire created by Eris after getting the money that she needed, and it quickly rose in power. It's so strong that it almost covers the entire map, and there are three other countries on the same continent, all of them much smaller than Amaris. This country is open to all races, including humans, vampires, and various others. Thanks to Eris's work, the technology has grown past that of the middle ages. It has powerful weapons and advanced machines such as magic energy generators.
The army that Eris builds is both vast and extraordinarily powerful. Her forces consist of thirty commanders of her own creation, and creatures known as shades. Shades are a type of undead, also known as the shadows of death. They are very resistant to physical attacks, and each unit looks similar but also different.
The infantry units look like black knights with wisp-like bodies and they wield either a sword, spear, axe, or mace. The cavalry units wield the same weapons and have the same bodies, but they ride horses with similar colors and the same wispy bodies. The stealth units have the same colored bodies, look like ninjas, and typically wield knives similar to kunais. Magic support units wear hooded robes in the place of armor and don't wield any weapons. Magic attack units wear the same sinister looking hoods but they wield black staffs with red crystals at the end. The archers look similar to humans but with no visible eyes or facial features. They also seem to wear patches of armor on their chests, forearms, and forelegs, with a container of black arrows on their backs. The aerial units are similar to the cavalry, but instead of horses, they ride black, wyvern-like creatures with wispy bodies. The war beasts are giant, black iguana-like creatures with tyrannosaurus-like heads and large spines running down their backs. The war machines are similar looking to early tanks, with tread wheels, and a small cannon on top.
In the center of Amaris is a city brimming with technology, the capital city, Bloodfallen. This city is just as large as New York, and has a massive wall surrounding it. It has stone streets and sidewalks, lamps that light the way at night, factories, workshops, and several beautiful plazas and marketplaces. In the center of the massive city, is Eris's masterpiece, a gigantic, gothic style, black castle. The way that it's shaped, the massive fortress gives off a feeling of belonging to an evil entity. It has multiple different towers, floors, and walls. Another feature that Eris created lies underneath the castle. Under the evil-looking castle, there's a gigantic labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and mazes. There's also a teleport trap as soon as one steps through the door of the castle. If the trap doesn't register one as an ally of Eris', then they will be instantly transported to the bottom of the labyrinth and will have to fight their way to get back out.
The center tower of the castle is also the tallest of them. At the top of the central tower is the throne room. The room is more like a hall that's illuminated with red lighting coming from black chandeliers. There's a purple carpet that leads from the large, black, shiny doors to the throne. The walls are decorated with what seem to be beautiful tapestries that depict great wars. At the end of the room, opposite to the doors, there's a single woman sitting at a black throne with red cushions and what looks like a massive amount of thorns spreading from its back.
The young woman is almost 68 inches in height, has long, raven black hair, pale skin, pointed ears, and ruby red eyes. Her bangs are very long, but are evenly brushed to both sides of her face, allowing her to see. She wears a beautiful red dress with accents of black. The dress fits perfectly to the curves of her body and leaves her stomach exposed. The cape-like bottom of the dress goes well past her feet. She also wears boots with the same color scheme along with black stockings. She has black gloves that cover from her fingertips almost to her elbows. She wears a dark-colored ring over the middle finger of her right glove that increases her resistance to magic. She wears a thin black tiara with diamond-shaped spikes, and a red jewel in the center that increases her resistance to physical attacks. Finally she wears ruby earrings that increase her regenerative powers. Her outfit combined with her beauty makes her resemble a beautiful demon of seduction. Her right leg is resting over her leg, and her head is resting in the palm of her right hand, making her give off a laid back atmosphere, and at the same time, making her like a true villainess.
Suddenly, a blue panel appears in front of the young woman's face that says, "Notice; the enemy is attacking. There are 3 armies at the gates of Bloodfallen."
"About damn time. I was getting bored waiting for them," she says.
