Bab 559: Tales of a Rebel

Katie had only just heard Honour's voice on the other side of the door when everything went silent. From Cole's reaction, he'd heard it too. The silence that followed raised the tension in the air. 'What now?' Cole asked through the mind link.

The Luna sighed and shook her head, 'This is silly. I'll just knock.'

Cole nodded and remained behind as the girl approached the door and knocked. She'd barely touched the rich hardwood when there was a click and the door opened just a little bit to allow a bright set of blue eyes to peek through.

Lina's eyes popped open at the sight of her sister, "Oh, Katie! It's you."

"Hey, Lina. I was wondering if…" she began and stopped halfway when the door swung open and a dark-haired mirror image of herself engulfed her in a big hug.

Moving past the shock, Katie gently wrapped her arms around the girl as well. 'I missed you,' the girl said through the mind link.
