The gardens had been decorated far more than Katie had initially anticipated. Soft lights hung on the few large trees while the flowers had been trimmed to perfection, some potted and placed as centrepieces for the numerous tables that had been beautifully arranged in the round paved compound at the centre of the gardens.
The theme, as Katie's eyes immediately noticed, was blue, white and a little bit of red. It so turned out that most of the flowers were red even though they didn't quite fit the picture. Katie didn't mind the clashing colours. She was never once for fancy pretty occasions anyway. As long as she got to reunite with her family and friends again, there was nothing more she would need.
Despite her disinterest in decorations, however, one thing in particular stuck out like a sore thumb in all of this and the Luna simply couldn't ignore it.
