Bab 265: Shopping time

"I'm glad too, Evelyn." our mother answered offering her a big smile, she seemed genuine and I felt relieved she didn't start any useless argument this time.

When I came back home I was very happy about how the situation revolved, I couldn't imagine things would end up positively between mother and Evelyn. Especially after she showed up knowing my mother wouldn't like it and purposely annoy her.

Little did I think the situation could eventually turn up with such a positive result and with mom apologizing in front of everyone. That was such big progress from her and a big achievement for me and Evelyn.

I fell asleep early and the next day I was awake earlier than usual, so I texted Cameron good morning and took advantage of the occasion to go for a walk with Floyd.
