Bab 16: Chapter 16
I opened my eyes and saw that I didn't wake up in my room. I already guessed where I am. I can smell a faint smell of medicine around the room.
' So I am in hospital now. Man, what happened..., oh, I think I know what happened. ' I thought and shifted my gaze towards my right.
I saw both Mom and Hima were sleeping near my bed. ' I think they were worried sick about me. '
I watched them for a while and called out. " Hey, mom. " She opened her eyes and saw that I was awake. Without waiting for a second, she took me into a hug.
" Thank god, you are awake. " Mom said while crying. " Hey, Hey, don't cry, mom. I am awake now. Don't cry, please. " I said while patting her back.
" ONI-CHAN!!! " Hima let out a shout and tackled me a tight hug. " Hey, come one, don't cry, Hima. See, your brother is fit and fine. " I said with a smile.
" Wait, Boruto. I will go and call your dad and Sakura. " Mom said and rushed out of the room.
I was reassuring Hima that I was fine while the door opened. Dad, Mom, Aunt Sakura, and Sarada came inside the room. I was surprised to see Sarada here. ' Must be here because of her mom. '
" Boruto, are you ok?. Do you feel any pain now? " Dad asked with a worried tone. " No, dad. I feel fine now. " I said while giving him an assuring smile.
" Sakura, do you know what caused that much pain to him? " Mom asked. " I don't know. The scans showed that nothing wrong with him. "
" I think I know why I felt that pain. " I said, and suddenly four Golden chains came out from my back. The Chains were gold in color and had a pointy Kuni at their end.
They were moving like snakes in the air around me. " I think it's because I awakened this ability. " I said while controlling a chain to take the water bottle from the side of the table.
Everyone in the room was shocked. Hima came near the Chains to touch them while Sarada was hiding behind her mom. I lifted Hima with two chains and made her sit on my laps.
" ADAMANTINE CHAINS!!! " Dad said with surprise. " Dad, do you know what these chains are? " I asked, even though I knew what Adamantine Sealing Chains are.
" Yes, this is the ability some Uzumakis have. Your Grandmother has this ability. I never imagined that you would awake this ability. " Dad said while smiling at me.
" Grandma has the same ability as me... " I said while thinking about the ways how she used those Chains in the show. I came out of my thinking and saw Sarada, who's still afraid of me and hiding behind her mother.
Then it came to me that my Chains, still swirling around my back. I took my Chains inside me. Hima was sad that I took them in as she was playing with them.
" Hey Sarada sorry for scaring you. " I said while smiling at her. ' Are my Chains that scary. Even Hima was playing with them. I thought girls like anything which is in gold color. '
" Let's leave him so he can rest. " Aunt Sakura said while everyone nodded.
As everyone left, I waited for some time and smiled. " Adamantine Sealing Chains are not the only thing I awakened. " I said, and my hand turned black with red sparks covering them.

I went near to the mirror which was present in the room and saw myself in it. " Hm... my eyes turned red and red sparks are coming out of them. I feel like I can destroy a building with a strong punch.
But still, I feel like I didn't even reach 10% of its full potential. "
I said and started examining my new ability. After some time of examination, I found some things.
The first is that Busoshoku Haki uses Stamina to work. The second is that I could only maintain it for 20 minutes.
The Third is that I have to train like hell to use this ability to its peak. After some time, I went back to my bed and rested on the bed, thinking of a training regimen.
Finally, I was discharged and went back home. Mom started preparing for dinner.
Dad was preparing for a mission that needed his assistance. Hima and I were playing tag inside our house. After some time, mom called us. " Boruto, Himawari, Naruto come down. Dinner is ready. "
I entered the kitchen with Hima, and Dad came behind us. Today mom made many tasty dishes. We ate while talking and laughing with each other.
After dinner, mom was doing some house chores while Dad, Hima, and I, watching TV. I suddenly remembered what Dad and I were talking about before and said. " Dad, why don't you tell mom about that now. "
I asked dad. " Are you sure about it? " Dad questioned me and saw that mom was humming a song while doing her chores.
" Yeah, go for it. The more you delay it, the more it will become a problem. " I said to dad, as mom would beat the living hell out of dad.
We didn't tell her about the investments and shares of the company. She would scold us because we could have made debts or lost all our money.
Mom even told dad not to make any investments like that in the past. ' I think she knew that dad has zero knowledge in business and stuff. '
" Ok... Let's go. " Dad said. "Hm... What do you mean? Why should I come with you? You are the one who made investments right. "
I said as to ditch all the scolding to dad, but dad dragged me near mom. ' I think I should expect some beating from Mom today. '
