Bab 282: I Don't Know...

The moment she did this, a knock came at the door, prompting her to lift her head and glance at it.

"What is it?"

"My Lady, you really need to see this." The bodyguard, who was none other than her personal guard, reported it, and she immediately stood up from the floor. 

She walked towards the door and pulled it open, then stepped out and shut it behind her. 

A long, deep breath of relief fled Selena's nose, and she carefully rolled out from under the bed. She proceeded out of the room and moved carefully and unnoticed to find out what exactly she was called to see.

Amanda walked downstairs and, on getting to the living room, her eyes widened in a bit of horror. In front of her, her men stood with the dead bodies of the two bodyguards who were meant to stand watch, at the entrance.
