Bab 266: Mood Swings

A deep breath exited Adrik's nose, and he stood up from the chair. He walked to the elevator, which took him up to the second floor, and he stepped out when the door pushed open. He strolled to their room and opened the door, then stepped in and shut it behind him. 

"Little wi-" He turned around, and his eyes widened at what he saw. There on the bed, Leia lay sobbing, her face buried in the pillow. What is happening? 

Adrik, who was shocked, stood, unsure if he was dreaming or not. "Little wife..." He tenderly called her, but she sobbed more, as though Adrik had made her cry more. 

He slowly ambled to the bed and sat down beside her. Then, gently, he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her to have her sit down. His eyes blinked vigorously on seeing her teary face, and his jaw fell in shock. "Wh-why are you crying, little wife?" He inquired, and Leia sniffed, then abruptly moved to hug him tightly.
