Bab 71: Testing the calmness of the water

Rinei took all the chance she could get to call Marc and inform him of what was about to come. But none of her calls were answered. That he became more and more frustrated by the fact that they're getting nearer and nearer at their destination. 

A worker lead her and Alexei along with Lorenz to one of the rooms, where it thought Marc would be. 

It was the Master's bedroom. 

"That's odd," said the worker. "I'm sure they were here earlier." 

RInei's throat suddenly felt dry upon hearing the words they. And she could only guess who the other person the worker could be referring to. Marc had already told him that Erin was the Head Designer for the whole renovation plan.

"I think, it's better if we'd wait for him back at his apartment," his words stopped as they heard a noise coming from the bathroom.
