Grey is still driving and hasn't spoken of anything to James' question. His hand gripped the steering wheel tightly, and he didn't dare turn his head to glance at James, who was also looking the opposite way.

"I see you guys are getting close lately," added James after pausing on his question. Grey's breath started to hitch hard. His thumping heart almost jumped out of his place, and Grey worried that he would lose control. 

"What do you mean, sir?" Grey wondered back to clear out a few things.

"You and Delilah. Are you guys friends?" Grey drew more air into his lungs and let it out as it choked him. He chose not to answer, and James kept guessing what was going on.

"Just spill it out, Grey." James was still pressing more buttons to corner Grey.
