Bab 34: Monster?

James suddenly thwarted his car at a crossroad and soon got out of it. He looked left and right, trying to find a trace. James had good intuitions. Actually, from the way to the restaurant, he had noticed Delilah. He could see that she seemed to have memorized the route. His hunch turned out to be correct. Delilah was about to run away.

James traced the path and cut through some narrow alleys. He even climbed a padlocked fence to get through the way he wanted. Even though James was wearing an expensive million-dollar suit, but he moved with ease like a professional hunter. He only took a few breaths to catch before seeing Delilah's shadow emerging from behind the path he was walking.
