Bab 215: QUESTIONS WITHOUT ANSWERS

Meanwhile, as Derek was gearing up for a confrontation with the strange werewolf, Aiden was in his office, restless and quite sad, not in the mood for a morning quiz at all.

After he had left Emma's room the previous night, he had flown as an owl to one of the trees and waited. 

And so, he had known, he had felt her anger at the intruder who had touched her without her permission, she had been angry at him, only that she hadn't known that he was her assailant.

But still, he hadn't been pleased with her conclusion.

Rather, he had felt stupid and guilty.

"Did she hate my touch that bad…?" He asked himself, as he reclined more deeply into the armchair in his office.
