Bab 217: Completely Crazy

Ava gaped at this strangely dressed wacko, wondering if perhaps one of her coworkers was pulling some sort of terrible prank. Whoever it was, this wasn't funny!

His words were insane and yet she felt a strange sensation in her chest, almost as if it was burning. She was officially losing her mind. The crazies were trying to infect her and drag her down with them. 

Her fingers inched toward the panic button hidden on the underside of the reception desk. One push was all it would take for security to come running and take this nutcase away from her forever. 

Yet there was a part of her that was curious how far he would go with his crazy story. Ava's curiosity had gotten her into trouble more than once but she couldn't help it. 

"What's this about a fairy queen? Who are you?" she demanded.
