After taking the rest of the night to reflect on it, Jasper realized he needed to do better when it came to April. He needed to know more of what she liked and that wasn't going to happen seeing her for less than fifteen minutes at a time.
He didn't have that much going on the next morning so he was going to spend at least an hour hanging out with her. That would give him something to work with, wouldn't it?
When he showed up with an omelet for breakfast, she was still fast asleep. Her head was on one pillow while she tightly hugged the other as if it was a teddy bear. Did she like that sort of thing?
Jasper set the food down on the table and hesitantly went over to the edge of the bed to wake her. He didn't want her to scream again—after last night, he wasn't sure his ego would be able to take it—but her food was going to get cold if she didn't eat it soon.
