Bab 202: Ritual 2

Warg took a step ahead. Evelyn ventured. She could feel the goosebumps on her body.  "You could have killed me easily by appointing someone else. Why put a curse on him?" She asked. 

Warg smiled evilly and replied, "We tried to kill you infinite times in infinite ways you could never think of. But each time you escaped. At first, I thought it was because of your good fortune. When asked to a witch, she gave some insights and revealed that you could be killed only by your loved one and there he is." 

She furrowed her brows and looked at him in confusion. She couldn't understand what he was saying and who decided all that stuff? It was like listening to another rumour or to be precise, a disbelief.
