Bab 83: Sealing the Firm

Morning arrived with another devastating news for Evelyn. After having breakfast, she and Elric were about to leave for the council office, two men arrived at their doorsteps.

"Mr Harmon, Mr Martin, what happened?" She inquired, her gaze fixed on their strained expressions.

"Who are they?" Elric asked, looking at the two middle-aged men.

"They are the head tailors of the Isabel firm run by me," she informed him and introduced them.

"What's the matter?" Elric asked, furrowing his brows.

Mr Harmon began, "Miss Evelyn," as Mr Martin, who was short-tempered, appeared enraged at the time. She hoped there wasn't any dispute between them again as she was not in the right situation to look into their matter.

"In the morning, Mr Falcon arrived at the firm. The workers still had not come and it was just me and Mr Martin," Mr Harmon added.
