"Mom . . . where's dad?"
Zachary asked. His head rose with his innocent round puppy eyes, holding one of his presents in front of the gigantic Christmas tree.
We were in Santa clause village in Finland to spend our Christmas together as a family. We just arrived today. After getting ourselves settled in one of the private village hotels, Zachary went to the fireplace where the gigantic Christmas tree and dozens of towering gifts were located. He couldn't contain his excitement in opening his present, but he frowned when he noticed his father hadn't arrived yet.
It was already past dinner, and it was Christmas Eve. A few hours and it would be Christmas, and Zhander was still nowhere to be found.
What was he doing business in time of their vacation and in Christmas Eve no less!
I smiled and rocked my chair with my baby girl, Estelle, Ella, for short, in my embrace, soundly sleeping after I fed her.
