***ADDIE'S POV***

Grandfather Yuri moved to the next stage. The ceremony continued smoothly, despite the nerves and awkwardness raging inside of me. He picked the goblet up next and spoke once more.

"From this goblet, you will have your first drink as man and wife. Share this drink as you will share your lives. And remember that in the future, you need to communicate with each other. You will talk many nights in the future with a drink between you. Begin now and share what you love most about each other."

Nolan took the goblet from Grandfather Yuri and sipped elegantly from its depths. I watched his lips, as they touched the glass, and then saw the tiniest flash of his tongue, as he licked the wine from them, before he spoke.
