**ADDIE'S POV**

    No one mentioned the impending executions. No one paid any attention to the stage that was set up for it. Everyone just focused on the positivity of the night, and good things that were coming out of this night. The added friends and family that were being integrated into the community. The new memories that were being made. All of that was the focus for the night, and not what was about to happen. 

    I think that I might have been the only one that was way too focused on and concerned with the stage and what was going to happen with it soon enough. I wanted to be as oblivious and unaware of it as they all seemed to be, but I just couldn't get my mind to behave that way. I couldn't get my thoughts to leave the topic alone.
