**ADDIE'S POV**

Callum was still staring at me expectantly as I tried to process the thoughts that were now speeding through my mind. I mean, I guess that I hadn't thought about these things before. Then again, there was a lot about this world that I hadn't thought about because I just didn't know about it.

I mean, it was no wonder that I hadn't thought about this before. Callum acted like he was all powerful and that no one was able to object to him. He acted like the king that he was. He acted like a man that was in charge. He acted like someone that would have no problem doing what needed to be done, but he just didn't. It wasn't that I thought that he was a bad king, because he wasn't. Most of the country lived happy and peaceful lives and that was what mattered. And those that didn't live like that, well they weren't as important, were they?
