Bab 361: Chapter 61- Addie – Gauging Power, Again (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I was so happy with how that dinner went last night. I didn't think that I would ever meet Nolan and Callum's grandfather. And if I was going to meet him, I didn't think that it was going to be so soon. I was glad that I did meet him though. He was such a wonderful man. And he was happy to have met me as well. That made me happy. I was glad that Grandfather approved of me the way that he did. And he was also so happy that Briar was there with us. I can't believe that all those years ago, when Briar came to my aid, my family and the royal family had their first meeting. And it was all because of that, because I had the Withering Flu, that I am here with these people now. That was the start of the change to my life that I never saw coming. And as scary and hard as it was in the beginning, I am so glad that it did happen. I am safe, and I am truly loved. Isn't that all that I could ever ask for?
