Bab 173: Dessert Part 1

**ADDIE'S POV**

I had been dreading this part of the meal. We had all finished eating our meal and now it was time for us to have dessert. That meant that I was going to be in here, all alone, with the king and queen. What were they going to say to me? What was the queen going to do to me? Was she going to be angry with me? Was she going to demand that I leave right away and never come back?

No, that would be too easy for me. The queen would never want to just banish someone that had been linked, rather falsely but still linked, with her two lovers. She was not going to be happy with me because I had been perceived as taking her husband and her, well what do you call a male lover like this? He wasn't a mistress, but the equivalent of one. Would he be the queen's concubine? But were those allowed to be women? Oh, I know, they were consorts. Right? That's what they were called. I think anyway. I can't rightfully remember.
