Bab 169: Resolve

**ADDIE'S POV**

If I were to say that I wasn't stressing at all as I walked from my room, then I would be lying. If I were to try and convince someone that I wasn't nervous about this lunch meeting, they would know that it wasn't true almost immediately. I wasn't really able to hide it as much as I wanted to right now.

I could tell that I wasn't hiding it well enough because I could see the way that Violet and Nishi were looking at me. They were both guiding me through the hall as we made our way to the private dining room that was used for the king and queen. In all honesty, Nishi was guiding us both, but Violet was acting the part of a very knowledgeable and competent servant. She truly was one of the best though, so that wasn't a lie. She was just a servant in new surroundings that was doing her best to learn the lay of the land.
