Bab 573: Reunion

Qie Xieling saw a familiar silhouette leaning nonchalantly against a sleek sports car. Half of the figure was bathed in a soft glow making him appear otherworldly. 

Luo Muchen looked effortlessly cool, his sharp features highlighted by the gentle light. Qie Xieling's heart raced as he realised that Luo Muchen was standing there, almost as if he was waiting for someone. 

Caught off guard his steps faltered, freezing in place as a wave of nervousness washed over him. 

Luo Muchen looked up and saw Qie Xieling. He pulled down the brim of his cap, hiding his eyes. His lips curled into a smirk. He pushed himself off the car and walked towards Qie Xieling, his steps confident and casual. Qie Xieling felt his legs turn to jelly. 

As Luo Muchen sauntered in his direction he started weighing his options. If he ran back to the house, Luo Muchen would be able to catch up with him in two steps.
