"Now, shall we begin?" The shorty said as he nudged his head towards one of his men. The man nodded, walked toward the nearby music stereo, and turned the nob up, increasing the volume of the music playing in the room.

"Now, before we begin," The shorty again gave a nod to one of his men and said, "Let me introduce myself. I am..."

"Boss, I know who he is..." The man tasked with finding out the identity of Brad got a message on his phone, and he spoke up in excitement, interrupting the shorty.

"What didja say?" The shorty slowly turned his head towards his man and asked with his eyes squinting and lips twitching.

"I..." The man could feel he fucked up. In that moment of excitement, he forgot that his boss was still speaking, "I just got the message..." But before he could continue, the shorty threw the knife in his hand and struck his own man right above his heart in the shoulder.
