Cecilia was buried in a huge pile of paperwork, Aleron sitting on an armchair close to her desk reading an old book with yellowish pages. It had a dark green hard cover, a little bit bigger than his palm and he too seemed to be immense in what he was reading. 

The king was not seated properly, his legs were dangling from the one side of the armchair, above the hand rest and the queen glanced at him, clicking her tongue by the way he looked so carefree. Without taking his eyes from the words he smirked, obviously able to hear even the slightest sound. 

"Shouldn't you be working instead of judging me, darling?" he asked her, his eyes shining as he met with hers.
