Bab 42: Chapter 41: The Konats
The Planet KonatsOn a futuristic planet that had a perfect balance between technology and nature, there above the busy hustle and bustle of the city below where thousands of people continued about their business some even taking pictures of the marvel stood a seemingly medieval castle, this was the Buckinland palace the Historic home of the Konats Royal Family the house of Windsornuts.
Although it looked ancient it was as advanced as the rest of the planet as it was specially designed to look Historic on the outside but advanced on the inside and inside many Konats were busy at work maintaining the castle cooking cleaning and so on, but inside a particular room, the fate of the planet was being discussed in the Royal throne room many of the most powerful people in the Empire were discussing a seemingly insignificant planet one that used to be overlooked but one who's true value had only been recently realised, and the effects of its loss to an extremely dangerous foe.
Inside the throne room, there were many individuals mainly Konatians with their humanoid appearance with pointed ears and colourful hair that varied from red, blond and even dark blue many of the individuals discussing together were mainly either unhappy with the outcome of fear of a Saiyan invasion, a loss in the business they had on the planet or the fact that the loss of a planet no matter the size stained the empire's reputation.
Everyone within the hall had an opinion some were more vocal others were discrete and others decided they would agree with whoever would benefit them most, such was the way of the Konatian politicians and the one to have the final say would of course be the Emperor who had not yet entered the hall until
Boom!!
The massive golden doors swung open, and Voles and Vela caught the attention of many inside who began to bow when they saw who walked behind them.It was the man both regal and strong he wore a fur robe and some pieces of jewellery showing his wealth he had a silver beard and long silver hair like his daughter and atop his head was a golden crown he walked in elegantly not even bothering to acknowledge anyone, instead he walked up to his throne and as he set the others quickly moved to thier own seats, his children set to his sides overlooking the rest.
There was some silence for a time until the Emperor finally spoke "Im sure you are all aware of the Aladeen situation"Many murmured and some nodded in response"Good, then I won't need to waste time in explaining why this is clearly a challenge by Arrot Salelerson and his own personal way of wanting to meet up to negotiate, and if its a negotiation he wants then that is what he will get".This surprised many in the room, especially Vela who had been hoping for the opposite of a negotiation with the Saiyans there where some who let their dissatisfaction be known as they began to yell over each other arguing among themselves somehow hoping the Emperor would hear their points,but it was pointless since the ruler had already made his choice and he would stick by it.
The emperor rose from his seat prompting everyone to be quiet and listen to what he had to say 'Hear me all who are foolish, do you not see the true danger that we face the Saiyans are a mighty warrior race on their own but now they have numerous worlds under their command doing their bidding they have become an incredible threat to our civilization but they are also a great opportunity for us.The many members in the hall looked at each other and came to the same conclusion and this made the emperor grin I see you all understand what I mean then good it is decided we will negotiate with the Saiyan emperor Arrot.
Bang!! went the Doors as Vella stormed into her father's throne room "With all due respect your majesty How dare you negotiate with a terrorist! The emperor looked at his daughter with tired eyes and rubbed his well-trimmed black and grey beard "Your majesty you only ever call me that when you're angry with me hehe and also he isnt a terrorist he is a Monarch"Vella cringed "Monarch he's a warlord at best what claim dose he have over the west Galaxy and now he decides to infringe upon the south what sort of a madman does this?
Vella vella vella said the ruler to his daughter Have you forgotten how our empire was formed? "Of course not when the mighty wizard and his disciples Tapion and Minotia defeated the horrid Majin Hirudajian that laid ruin to our world our great ancestor decided that the Konat's peaceful ways were no longer to our benefit so he began to carve an empire of our would-be enemies rather than let them come to us. Yes very good and I wager in those days our ancestor was seen as a power-hungry warlord. Well the main difference is that our ancestors never meant to cause chaos but expanded in pursuit of peace this Arrot creature has no pure intentions other than to satisfy his species' innate desire for battle he is a power-hungry Tyrant, have you seen his speeches that's hypnosis to the last word, and it's just just "Ingenious said the ruler of the Konats to his daughter he then stood from his throne and motioned his daughter to follow and so she did they entered a room that lead to a map of the many worlds in the south and west galaxy including the unclaimed space.
Vella had seen the map hundreds of times she knew even where to locate the most insignificant of planets and asteroids, when she was younger she had even hoped to be an astrologer or map maker but now she does it in the little free time she allows herself to have.
"Why have you brought me here your majesty? Oh, you always used to love playing around in here,I thought I might use these maps you love so much to prove my point, look to the south what do you see?."I see our planet and all those that are within our control and I also see those of the republic and those that remain non-affiliated."Good now how many years did it take both the republic and our Konats empire to form and function efficiently?
"It took our empire 700 years to become as powerful as we are today coupled with the efforts of our many ancestors," said Vella with great patriotic pride.The ruler did not seem amused as he pointed the west "Now tell me Vella which planet in the west Galaxy is not under Arrot's control or rather has any signs that they could revolt against him? Vela frowned because she had studied the planets and all seemed to be under the Saiyan's thumb as if they were all under some spell similar to the one the great wizard uses to keep the evil of our world at bay could he possibly have the same power? "
Either way, his power is grand indeed. Maybe if we can negotiate right he might be able to share his knowledge and also help us take care of the republic.I see the look in your eyes daughter. "
I can tell you have come to the same conclusion as I have even tho we can keep the evil at bay revolts are not always born from evil but justice this Saiyan has found a way to quell any possible rebellion and has done in a few years,what took us centuries having him on our side would be a great help.
"Yes Father I agree but what could he gain from us to reveal such information? ' The ruler smiled that's where you come in my dear" "With those words Vella already understood what was about to go down she would be offered as a peace offer or sign of joining to Arrot in hopes of spearing and joining the two empires. Vella understood this and was angry but she knew it was what needed to be done, for the sake of her people and family."Yes Your Majesty I accept your mission for me" she said with soulless eyes.

Ranks_Blex_2955 its been a while hasnt it cant really say I enjoyed being gone as much as the next guy but life has been busy this is just me getting my bearings of the story again after such a long time but hope you enjoy
