When she took a step back, he stopped and laid down while watching her with its red glowing eyes.

She swallowed as she tried not to look as scared as she felt. No human could stand before such a gigantic wolf without getting scared. It will take grace to prevent wetting their pants.

He did not look aggressive or defensive rather majestic in a welcoming manner that was not hard for her to notice but that did not hide the fact that she was standing so close to a wolf.

It could be her husband but she watched her family members die after getting eaten brutally by wolves and that has been her greatest nightmare.

The nightmare eased after she met them in the spirit world but seeing a wolf got her scared.

You might probably be wondering why she was so scared to even after living with him for more than two couples of years but this was the first time she was seeing a wolf since she arrived in this kingdom.
