Bab 174: CLXXIV: the darkness

"You should have other children and love them while waiting," she advised the princess as she stood up and walked bypass Aurora on her knees.

"I will but not until my children return," she replied the goddess and stood up. "So, when will they return?"

"Soon, I will tell you when I find out," the oracle told her firmly and returned to the bowl. She walked behind the oracle. "You should trust me and remain calm. I will bring them back. If I do not do that, it will mean I am unfaithful but you and that is what I refuse to be called."

Aurora nodded since that was the only reasonable response she could up with. She walked as the oracle placed her hand on the bowl and the oracle's eyes regained their color.

She wondered if that bowl had a connection to the goddess's world and she got an idea.

Left with no other choice, she continued living, living a lot better than she did in the past although she never for once forgot her children.
