They had no time to waste as they hurried back towards the direction they came from. She tried to change it all but it might be unavoidable for them to fall into the trap she made for her uncle and teacher.
The camp was empty when they got to it. She saw a few soldiers guarding the camp. She approached one of them. Her husband's pride and overprotective action were what made him refuse the mermaid's advice.
"We must stop them," the mermaid said urgently when Aurora began approaching the soldier.
Aurora was forced to agree with the mermaid and she returned to the horse and mounted. She rode into the thick woods ahead. She believed that her presence would be able to change it all.
She dismounted when she got to the other side of the woods where her teacher and her uncle pitched their camp.
The sound of war that welcomed her shocked her. She looked down and the battle was at its peak. She saw no monsters or werewolves.
