"If you want her body to bury, I could give an order for the body to be released to you so you could bury her properly. Half of the time, they are thrown into the dark pit as meal to the beast in habiting it," he told her. "Do you want me to write an order for you to take to the dungeon before she gets thrown into the pit?"
She did not hear what he said as his voice sounded distanced. She furrowed her brow as her legs felt so weak that they could not hold her up anymore. She moaned in pain with her hand pressed against her chest.
"You are sad but that does not mean you should react in such manner," she heard that familiar voice in her head tell worriedly.
"I am sad and I am also trying hard not to react this way but . . ."
She collapsed to the floor making the king drop his pen and stand up. he hurried to her sound and she could hear a muffled sound but she could not make out what was said but knew it was her husband's voice.
