Bab 97: XCVII: using their shared pain

"I will leave you two together," Selene whispered before escaping through the opposite direction.

She looked back but the lady was long gone that she could not even see her departing back.

She frowned and continued forward. "Your majesty," she greeted him with a slight bow before passing by him.

"You should stop avoiding me. I think we need to talk," he told her seriously.

She let his words disappear into the thin air before continuing towards the door of her room. 

He caught her wrist and turned her to face him with a force that sent her towards the wall. When she winced expecting her back to hit the wall hard, their position changed and she only hit his muscled chest.

She yelped and pulled away despite the fact that she felt dizzy and she was losing her balance. 

"I said we need to talk," he said seriously.
