Bab 11: XI
Two figures wearing black hoods stopped by a clean spring and got down from the horses they rode on.
The taller figure looked into the water which was very clear and clean that you could easily see the bottom of the water.
Brown colored marbles designed the bottom of the stream in a very beautiful natural pattern.
"Wow, this is so beautiful," a female voice commented as she bent and dipped her hand into the stream. The water flowed in a gentle manner down the slope. She took a hand full and drank it.
"That is a fish," a deeper voice coming from the taller figure was heard by the person smiling at the wonderful taste of the water from the stream.
"Yes. I never knew it was possible to see a fish so clearly in the water. When I bent down to fetch water, there was no fish around. See, they are coming towards us," a female voice vocalized the observation of its owner in a very surprised tone.
"Hmmm," the person with the deeper voice agreed as she took a step back. This was not the first time she has witnessed something like this.
It seems they always swim towards her whenever she got close to water with fishes in them. There were a lot of unique things about her that she could not possibly make a list of them or she might really run out of saliva doing so.
"Oh," the smaller frame that was bent stood upright as she ran back. All the hairs on her body rose at the sight before her.
The fishes were all coming towards them from both directions of the stream. The part they stood was densely populated by fishes.
Their grey, black, red, silver colors densely populated in a pattern that she found very scary. The fishes had their heads towards the surface looking towards their direction.
"Oh!!! I think we should leave this place. This is so scary," the lighter voice advised the person with the taller frame. "It looks dangerous."
"When I step away, fetch water in our water cans and don't look back afterwards," the person with the taller frame said as she stepped away hurriedly.
The reason she stopped here after passing by so many streams was because she had a feeling that there was no life in the water but it is obvious that either she did not have the right feeling or she actually attracted them from a very far distance.
She once asked her teacher what all these strange happenings meant. Her teacher told her that it was because of the concoctions she has always had her drink.

She said it will help her in the future when she wants to kill the Alpha. She was not sure how it was going to help.
She requested for it to be stopped until it was time for her to leave. It really stopped then but it was back again.
She could not imagine what it will be like when she experiences all those other strange things happen again.
Helen walked to the water when the fishes stopped swimming towards them and they moved away from where she stood and she could fill their water bags.
Curious about whether the fishes were gone already after she fetched the water and was already returning to their horses, she wanted to turn back but she paused remembering the order of the princess and she continued walking forward.
Aurora who gave the order to her companion not to look back turned back when she mounted her horse. She wanted to be sure if it returned to her completely.
There was always something that follows such happening when she was dealing water creatures.
She winced when she saw the once clear water now red in color with the bodies of the fishes dead floating on the surface for her to see.
Her grip on the reins tightened as she forced her gaze to look forward. She wished such a thing happened when he mother was killed along with her other family members.
If only such a thing happened, she would have saved them but then she had not met the witch which means she had not drank that concoction yet or had any desire for vengeance.
She has always been friendly with all animals. She was not scared of them and they were not hustle to her. Once she went to play in the garden and there was a snake.
She was surprisingly not scared it was her maid who freaked out and had people running to save her.
All she did then was remaining fixed where she stood and looked at the large snake until it crawled away.
Even when her father brought a wolf over to the palace, her twin brother was so scared he refused to go close to it but she did not even consider hesitating to move further and the wolf was surprisingly calm as it watched her with its brown eyes until she was pulled back and carried away by her father.
She could still remember all her childhood vividly thanks to her teacher's sorcery powers and those concoctions she was made to drink.
She watched the wolf struggle to break the chain as she was carried away.
It was as though it was trying to save her like a loyal dog will do when he sees his owner in danger.
She had lifted her hand and waved it before it became calm and she could not see it any longer because the door was now closed.
Helen glanced at Aurora as they rode through the rocky part with grasses and trees on either side.
She clearly saw her master turn back but why was she asked not to look back? "Master, why was I asked not to look back?" Helen she asked very cautiously hoping not to offend Aurora.
"Did you have a reason to look back? I have told you countless times to go back to the city but you keep coming with me. You know what the end is, right?" Aurora asked as she looked Helen who looking down at the back of the horse she was riding to avoid her gaze.
"I will not be alive now if not because you took me in. I would have jumped into a well long ago. So, my life if yours. I will live and die for you. I have nothing else to do.
"From the day I heard about your mission, I have always dreamt of dying at your side. That is the only thing that will be able to help me die peacefully and face my mother. I am sure she will be proud of me. At least I lived my life with a purpose and I served my master well."
"There is a cave somewhere close by. We will get there before it gets too dark hopefully," Aurora said tired of trying to persuade her maid to go back and not die for a not too good reason when she was still young.
