"My lady, we apologize that we never came forward to take care of you. If it was not for us, you would have not suffered for this long!" The staff looked at Hazel with a face full of regret.

"You miss me too much. If she would have been here, she would have been proud of you. You look so beautiful. It must have been difficult to grow alone." 

"Yes, it is our fault to not come looking for you when we were told that the address we have been given was wrong but did not have the means to look for you and the count was nowhere in contact." they all bowed their heads low as they waited for her to forgive them.

Their eyes were filled with grief and pain as if they were the one suffering instead of her.

Since the time she knew that she was the sole heir of all these properties, she had been worried of what would happen to all these land and properties. But now that they were here, she felt assured.
