Bab 272: Kill Each Other

Shocked and surprised, Diana looked around as she was dragged into the prison only to find George sitting on the other corner of the room.

They both looked at each other with cold eyes as if they hated each other's presence.

"What did you do? What are they talking about?" roared George as he had heard the knight saying that she and her husband had killed the family of count and took their property.

"Asking the man who was dragged here like a criminal!" she scoffed, though she did not understand how and why had she told the truth to all of them, she felt like there was more to it than it met the eyes.

She had never told the truth to anyone. Not even to Amelia who was her flesh and blood.

"Ha! I am here only because of a business deal, even if I was found guilty in the royal court later, they would only charge a fine and leave me.
