"W-what?" That's the only word Kite can utter after hearing what Pitou said.
But how can anyone blame him?
A terrifying chimera ant appeared out of nowhere, Cut off his right arm, beat him until he is half-dead, then healed him for no apparent reason using a suspicious pill, and finally revealed her intention of killing the unborn chimera ant King.
What kind of bullshit is this?
Or does this ant perhaps is having a bad day and decided to blow off some steam by almost killing me?
While Kite is still dumbfounded by what Pitou says, The person(Ant?) herself turns around and started to walk away leaving the still confused Kite.
Kite gets out of his thoughts when he notices the unusual chimera ant started to walk away.
"Hey! wait a moment!" (Kite)
"Nya?" (Pitou)
Pitou stops in her tracks and looks back.
"What do you want?" (Pitou)
"What do you mean by 'What do you want?'? We are still not finished talking!" Kite said while catching up on her but still maintaining his distance between the two of them.
"Hm? Are we?" Pitou said while tilting her head sideways and rubbing her chin trying to remember if she forgot something to say but her acting skill sucks that anyone who saw her right now can tell she's just playing dumb.
Kite didn't say anything and just intently stare at her. After almost a whole minute of staring contest;
"*Sigh* You're no fun at all..." (Pitou)
"Fine, I'll give you 10 minutes to ask any questions and I will TRY my best to answer them," She said with a smile that make Kite feel uncomfortable and irk at the same time.
"Then, first of all, What is your name?" (Kite)
"I asked you that same question earlier but you didn't answer me so why am I going to tell you mine?~"
Hearing the Cat chimera's answer, Kite can't help but take a deep breath to calm himself. If Pitou is only a normal person then without hesitation he will smack her head to the ground!
Unfortunately, he can't do that, or else he will be killed instantly... So Kite decides to just play along with her to extract more information and know if she is truly an ally or not.
"My name is Kite. What's yours?"
"Nice to meet you, Kite. My name is Neferpitou, One of the queen's royal guards."
Kite's eye widened in surprise for a second time when he heard Pitou's position.
What is going on here...?
A royal guard who is supposed to protect the king is instead trying to kill him?
What the heck is going on inside of this Cat Chimera's head?
Looking at Kite's expression, Pitou releases a small chuckle that successfully brought Kite back to his senses.
"Surprised?" (Pitou)
"Well, I can't blame ya' though. I am one of the royal guards whose supposed sole duty is to protect the king but here I am planning to kill him." (Pitou)
"Why?" (Kite)
"What do you mean by 'why', Nya?~," Pitou curiously asked.
Seeing that Pitou is not taking this seriously and still have the mood to fool around, Kite can't help himself but take another deep breath to calm himself down.
'Calm down, Keep your calm, Kite.' (Kite)
"Then I will change my question, Why are you planning on killing the Chimera ant King?" (Kite)
"Sorry, can't tell ya'. ~" (Pitou)
Kite didn't press any further because he knows the chimera ant in front of him will not give any proper answer if she said she didn't want to tell and just ask the next question instead.
"Then why did you heal me? I'm sure you are not going to do such a thing without reason at all."
Pitou fell silent after hearing Kite's question.
'Why? It's because I don't want to deal with another monster in a form of a kid if I kill you.' (Pitou)
'Like hell, I can say that!!' (Pitou)
After thinking for a few seconds about how to answer Kite's question. Pitou finally open her mouth and said;
"It's because I want you to tell your allies that I will help them defeat the other royal guards and the king." (Pitou)
"And If I kill you. Your allies will see me as an enemy and it will be bothersome to explain to them that I am an ally and not an enemy. heck, they will not believe me at all." Pitou said while shrugging her shoulder.
"I see..." (Kite)
Kite nodded his head in understanding but in truth, he doesn't believe her at all and of course, Pitou knows that she can't fool Kite by such a half-assed reason but she doesn't care about it too much. after all the only important thing in her mind at the moment is;
'As long as Kite is alive, No bullshit protagonist will beat my ass because I still have to deal with the old man and the King, and I don't have any strength to spare on him.' (Pitou)
"Well, If you are already finished asking me questions then I will go back now, Nya." (Pitou)
But before can Pitou leaps at the branch of the tree. She heard Kite's shout.
"Wait! Before you go back, I still have one more question." (Kite)
"Hm? Just make it quick I still have things to do." (Pitou)
"Are you still going to kill humans?" (Kite)
*Thump* *Thump* *Thump*
After asking the question, Kite's heart suddenly started beating like crazy, His back is drenched in a cold sweat.
His instinct is ringing like a madman telling him to run away from here as fast as possible! but the problem is he can't move a single part of his body!
The only feeling Kite can feel at the moment is...
FEAR!
"Heh... It seems like you misunderstand something here, Kite.~"
Kite tried his best to move his head to look in the direction of the voice and he can see the smiling Pitou but her eyes and aura says the complete opposite!

"I'm sure I said that I will help you, humans, defeat the other royal guards and the King... But I didn't say anything about I will become a good guy." Pitou said with a smile that frighten Kite even more.
After saying that, Pitou didn't bother on him anymore and started jumping from tree to tree, and Kite also didn't stop her this time or maybe it is better to say he doesn't have the courage and balls to stop her after experiencing the full force of Pitou's Malicious aura.
*Thud*
*Huff* *Huff*
After Pitou disappears, Kite gets out of his petrification and directly falls to the ground, and immediately takes many deep breaths to calm himself.
"Monster..."
That's the only thing Kite can say about Pitou.
.....
A few minutes later, Kite finally manages to calm himself.
looking in the direction where the unusual chimera ant goes for a few seconds. Kite stand up and started to walk away from the nest. He needs to warn Gon and Killua about the Cat chimera and also to assure them he is alright.

well, some of you are saying it's pretty dumb saying her motives to an enemy but it's not like she tells any detail other than that.
Kite at most will assume it's like some kind of temporary truce OR he will not believe her at all which is most likely.
and even he tells that information to Netero in which they will put her as an enemy but "There's a high chance, They will first use her to defeat or weaken the other royal guards before killing her."

I read a comment where humans can snitch Pitou so the King and the other royal guards to take care of her.
wow...Your statement makes so much sense that I even think about deleting the chapter haha (it is not sarcasm.)
Well, sorry for not thinking that deep cause I'm not really someone who can erm.. think such a thing? da fuck?
but anyways, I have some counter-arguments.
First, I doubt Netero's team or others will do such a thing. why Netero's team? well, that's because in the canon the hunter association higher-ups didn't take chimera ants seriously. so I highly doubt they will send 'Strong' hunter other than netero himself.
Secondly, The bomb is illegal and only a few of them exist and just like what I stated earlier they didn't take chimera ants as a threat so I doubt they will order them to bomb the ants.
Thirdly, If you remember in the show. The hunter side will lose if not for the radioactive poison. So even if they snitch her out and pitou got killed or ESCAPED. they will still lose even the ant's side is minus one royal guard.
Finally, I doubt Meruem will handle Pitou's betrayal himself and just let Youpi and Pouf to exterminate her, and if that happens her chances of escaping are much much higher.
also, there are many ways on how to alter the story in which Pitou will survive if they really say to the ants Pitou is a traitor.
and just like someone said in the previous chapter(?). "They will not believe Pitou is a traitor."
