I am using the stealth mode built into Thieving Heaven's Rank 6 Battlesuit Gu House.
It was the pinnacle of Gu Houses, able to deploy multiple types of Killer Moves faster and cheaper than any Gu Immortal of an equivalent rank, of course, cheap is relative.
To a Venerable burning a single Immortal Essence stone per hour was a paltry sum worth scoffing at, but for the current Fang Yuan, it was a luxury he couldn't afford.
"Being an Immortal Zombie means having a dead aperture, which means I can't create new Immortal Essence, hence every ounce of this 1000 Immortal Essence is paramount-"
"999," Wisdom Gu replied, "You have 999 left after pulling that invisibility stunt, and you have 30 minutes left on the clock before you have to use another 1."
The Battlesuit Gu House was a masterpiece, but it required the use of AI Gu, of which the Immortal version belonged to Wu Shuai. This meant Theseus only left a Rank 5 version for Fang Yuan.
Luckily, Fang Yuan had something far better than AI Gu, Wisdom Gu!
"I get that the plan is to get in contact with Wu Shuai, and even as a Dragonman he is about 100 years old now, are you sure he's still loyal?" Wisdom Gu asked, "Even though he's a clone of yours, there is no telling if he'll stay truly loyal, after all, your main body is, by most definition, immortal, there's almost nothing, except the Heavenly Dao itself, that can challenge you."
"There should be a good chance that Wu Shuai will still listen, after all, he's enacting plan C."
"Plan C? What did your paranoid mind come up with now?"
Fang Yuan chuckled, "If I lose against the Heavenly Dao, Sha Xiao and Primordial, my clones were supposed to lay low, and hide, awaiting Star Constellation and the others to ascend or perish, since they have the Dragonman formula and are the leader of a group of Variant Humans who all have long life span, they simply need to bide their time until they can conquer the Gu World, and establish an eternal empire, made of my clones!"
"..." Wisdom Gu sighed, "Anyone told you that you're insane ?"
"Several," Fang Yuan smirked, "Not one of them is still alive and well to speak though."
"Now, we need to be prepared, just in case things didn't go according to plan."
"I thought you said he's following the plan," Fang Yuan cut in, "He is, but the plan was only supposed to be used if I lose, so for him to go off on his own must be either because he deemed it best, or…"
"Or he's rebelled," Wisdom Gu cut in, "Wouldn't that be poetic justice, the one thing the great demon Fang Yuan falls to is his clone."
"Hmph, that's why I never trust even my clones, so if worse comes to worse I have a secret move that I hid from the clones that will cause them to self-destruct."
Wisdom Gu rolled its eyes, "I guess being paranoid has its perks. What now."
"What else," Fang Yuan shrugged, "We enrol into this school."
"..."
"..."
"ArE YoU MAD?" Fang Yuan predicted Wisdom Gu's outraged and already plugged his ears, anticipating the shout.
"You're a Rank 6 Immortal Zombie, applying to enrol in a sch for young geniuses, made by Star Constellation! I couldn't spell instant death any other way!!!"
Fang Yuan began taking out some ingredients that he had picked up along the way, "Will you relax, did you forget who you're with? I'm the Great Love Immortal Venerable, the number 1 refinement path expert in the world."
Normally, refinement was a difficult meticulous process that required a crucible, and numerous preparatory ingredients and even then chance for success was low…usually.
"And done." Fang Yuan held a small bluish Gu in his hand, its aura was unmistakably Rank 5!
"Hmm?" Wisdom Gu sniffed at the new Gu in Fang Yuan's hand, "I've never seen this Gu before, what's it called?"
"Heh, I call it Yin Expulsion Pill Gu, I derived it from the miniscule collection of Pill Path inheritance I acquired, thinking that a temporary boost in strength from a Pill Gu might allow me the edge against Star Constellation or Gaint Sun, but the research was a dead end."
"I see," it wouldn't take long for Wisdom Gu to derive its understanding of what Yin Reversal Pill Gu would do, after all, it was only a mortal Gu, even though the subject was highly niche.
"But, if my calculations are correct," Wisdom Gu deduced, "This Pill is only temporary, it expells the Yin that makes an undead, undead, thus, reverting you back to a living state.
Yet, every time you use it, the Yin will eventually gather and return, damaging your aperture's foundations, causing you to regress 1 Rank of cultivation, and the lower you go, the less effective it will be until it eats away at your talent grade."
Fang Yuan nodded, "Indeed, which is why I'm going to eat 3 of these right now."
And without another word, Fang Yuan swallowed 3 Yin Reversal Pills.

"What the! Why would you do that??? You're going to drop to Rank 3 now!"
As Wisdom Gu was speaking, Fang Yuan's body underwent a transformation, its decaying flesh began to heal, and the palish blue colour, from a lack of blood, began to become a rejuvenating pink.
The last step was air filling his lungs and the sound of a rhythmic heartbeat, pumping blood throughout his body.
Fang Yuan had been revived!
"Relax," Fang Yuan took the time to examine his body, "A dead Rank 6 Immortal Aperture is useless, whereas at least a living Rank 3 is a useful disguise."
"Uhuh, because you used it up 1 shot before developing any sort of resistance you've bought yourself about a year, maybe a year and a half of time tops!"
"I just need to acquire a proper revival method, and truly revert to being alive before the Yin in my body returns with a vengeance." Fang Yuan patted down the dust from his body.
"Aren't you the great and mighty Great Love Immortal Venerable," Wisdom Gu's voice oozed sarcasm, "Don't you have numerous revival methods in your hand? I distinctly remember someone causing me to almost starve to death, by using his husk of an Immortal Zombie body to derive insights from my light of Wisdom."
"Water under the bridge my friend," Fang Yuan brushed his shoulder, removing the last bits of dust, though his body was back in tip-top condition, the clothes were still over 100 years old, even though they were made from Rank 5 Great Silk, they were still prone to decay, and no longer held their splendour.
"I do have plenty of revival methods, but none of them that are easy would work on a Rank 6 Immortal Aperture, and none of them that work on Rank 6 are easy to acquire, so we'll just have to bide our time and see." Fang Yuan straightened as much of the wrinkles of his attire as possible and proceeded to head to the examination hall.
