"And you're coming with!" Fang Yuan's massive soul grabbed Wisdom Gu and dove into the Spring Autumn Cicada. At Rank 9, it was no longer influenced by the Heavenly Dao.

All of a sudden,
"Stop!!! Isn't it enough for you???" The Heavenly Dao who hadn't spoken in years shouted at Fang Yuan, but he smiled and tossed the Spring Autumn Cicada in.
"You!" the Heavenly Dao was furious but his attention was quickly diverted, by Fang Yuan,
"And for good measure…" with a tiny flick, a small insignificant black bolt of lightning followed into the hole and the 5 Regions.
"Ah! You…you…"
Fang Yuan nudged his head in the direction, "Don't you have bigger problems?"
"Argh!!!" the Heavenly Dao screamed, if he had hair he would have pulled them out in frustration.

Thunder crackled all around the 5 regions, as dark clouds descended.
"This is not good…"
"What can this mean?"
"The end of the world is neigh!"
Many around the world were worried,
"A bad sign…" an old decrepit man walked out of an enormous tree trunk, its branches were shaped into a balcony, and ledge, "This an omen…a bad one…the Heavenly Dao is mad…"
A woman who looked to be in her 20s walked up to him and gently held the senior's arm, she held the visage of a stunning beauty of impeccable intelligence that once awed and dominated the world, she was so similar to that person, her hair held boundless glitter, like stars in the night sky… yet there were traces of…naivety and youthfulness were hidden within.
"The Heavenly Dao has been uneventful for the past 100 years, why is it acting up now?" the woman asked.
The old senior seemed to be like a well-aged tree, slow in every area, yet he held a vast and unshakable aura.
"...who knows…"
The old man turned and gave a sweet smile, "How's your mother, doing, little Gu Yue Starlight?"
"Grandpa Genesis," the girl blushed from embarrassment slightly, "Please don't use that last name, just Starlight is fine, you know how touchy mother feels about it…."
"Mhm," Genesis Lotus nodded his head knowingly, "Life can be so cruel…"
Starlight sighed, "It's not so bad, only Mother holds onto the grudge from so long ago."
"And the father is doing his best! The people are flourishing under him."
"Long?" Genesis Lotus chuckled, "To you 100 years may seem like a distant past, but to her and me? It might as well have been yesterday, the sins of the past cannot be so easily covered."

In the Eastern Sea, on a forbidden and deserted island,
"Kekeke," Malicious laughing erupted from an abandoned cave.
This island in the Eastern Sea was renamed to the Last Stand,
It was given this name because it was the last location Fang Yuan stood on before his ascension!
Since then, not a single Gu Mark had repopulated the area, as if a void existed there,
It became taboo to set foot anywhere near the island, as once marooned, all hope was lost…
Of course, locals made numerous speculations about, the Great Love Immortal Venerable's final legacy being on the island, but the treacherous route to get there and the lack of Dao Marks meant that most Gu Immortals were helpless, much less Gu Masters!
A burst of aura headed straight for the island, and landed in its center,
"I'm Back!" a voice echoed out across the island.
It was none other than Fang Yuan!
"Ah, my head." a tiny wisp-like soul floated near Fang Yuan, "Why did you come back to this place? You already won?"
Of course, the wisp was Wisdom Gu!
"Hmph," Fang Yuan snorted, "Win my ass, that damns Heavenly Dao was waiting for me to become as senile as Primordial."
Fang Yuan looked over his body from head to toe, then inspected his aperture.
"Good. It's all here."
"What!" Wisdom Gu exclaimed, "You only left a rank 6 Immortal zombie for yourself? Why not a rank 8 or even 7?"
Fang Yuan shook his head, "There was no for me to conceal a Rank 8 body from the Heavenly Dao should my plan to beat him fail, I needed a way to preserve the knowledge of my encounter against the Heavenly Dao, not so much survive the fight if things went awry."
"This body is Li Xiao Bai, my Information Path clone."
"I see…so what are we doing in the Gu World!"
"We have to *********"
"....are you insane?" Wisdom Gu stared dumbfoundedly, "Maybe if your main body was here, but with that puny Rank 6 Information Path clone? Not a chance!"
"You forget, I still have my other clones and the entirety of the Great Love Alliance, which has no doubt become the dominant force in the entire Gu World!"
Wisdom Gu sighed, "I'm Wisdom Gu, how could I possibly forget anything? I was of course factoring them in, it still doesn't change the fact that you'd need Dao Emperor-level strength!"
Fang Yuan smirked, There are still at least two Dao Emperor-level existences in the Gu World."
"Hmph," Wisdom Gu snorted, "How are you going to convince either of them? One's become an immobile tree, and the other's an elusive prick."
"And I'll remind you that neither particularly likes you."
"I have my ways. But our first course of action is to gain insight on the current state of affairs in the Gu World."
Fang Yuan turned his back toward Wisdom Gu and glanced around the makeshift base.
Until he stumbled upon an information path Gu Worm lying on the table,
"Fang Yuan, if you're reading this, it means you had to resort to plan B and...anyway, I have entrusted everything I have unto you, but in case you need it, I have left the complete recipe of the mobile Gu House; Battlesuit, along with the Gu for its base level 6th Rank."
"I am going to experience life as a normal person, now that my duty has come to an end,

Fang Yuan raised an eyebrow whilst reading, "Wow, didn't expect that…this will help tremendously."
ThieveiThieving's battle suit had always intrigued Fang Yuan, though he much rather deal with things himself, the battlesuit, if mass production potential. Still, he never delved into it.
"Hey," Wisdom Gu called out, "There's a spaceless tunnel here, and a note that reads, "This will bring you to the eastern edge of the Central Continent, I couldn't do more without Venerable level strength."
"So…what are we going to do now?"
Fang Yuan imprinted the last of the Immortal Gu that Theseus had left behind, "Isn't it obvious?"
"We are headed to see some old friends."

zulbucks yo guys, it's been a hot minute, and I've been taking that time to internalise my plans going forward, not just for this series but as an author in general.
my pseudo plan had always been to end this series around the same time I started my series...UK so that the build-up I've done over the past years can get translated to work that I will be doing, hopefully as a career...
But it's hard to even write for this book, let alone my own adventure, and I keep imagining a separate adventure about pokemon as cultivators that I also really want to write, but UK copyright n shit *sigh* maybe I'll have to do that one as another pure fan fic :(
But yea while I was contemplating and doing such work I realised that I hadn't actually written anything down for the next few chapters, which I swear were in my head but after doing Theory and presentations my brain is just ded.
I'm still not sure the direction I want to go in my life, because there are a lot of risks with becoming a full-time author, and at the same time, it can be extremely fun, yet also soul-crushing and mind-numbing...but I will always be extremely grateful to this community for giving me so much of your time reading whatever coked-up nonsense I've written.
