This way, a 'lowly' Rank 8 Killer Move would be the perfect sneak attack, and the plan worked like a charm!
The combination of those two particular Rank 8 Killer Moves created the Rank 9 Combination Killer Move, Time's Blinking Edge!
"Good shot!" Giant Sun praised, he had been observing the whole fight and was ready to provide support at any given moment to any of the 3 fronts they were forced to fight.
Star Constellation smirked, naturally such a conniving and ingenious plan was the product of her brilliant mind.
The entire Aramada came to a standstill.
Seemingly having lost its owner the Armada was no longer fully operational, which made Fang Yuan's and the Myriad Year Flying Warship's situation worse.
"Damn," Fang Yuan's Will cursed, "We're not just sitting ducks out here, we're trapped!"
He gave immediate orders to hightail it toward the Peaceful Soil Mountain Fortress.
With them being in the centre of the Armada, the once convenient cover provided by the Armada many Gu House now served as a hindrance that prevented them from taking evasive maneuvers.
Of course, Red Lotus and Star Constellation wouldn't let the opportunity go to waste and immediately took action.
Dao Killer Move ---------- Endless Void!
The Myriad Year Flying Warship was a Time Path Gu House and was supposed to be partially resistant to Red Lotus's Time Path attacks.
Keyword, Was.
Just as the Myriad Year Flying Warship began accelerating it suddenly crawled to an instant stop.
"Space and Time don't work separately, they are natural forces that work in tandem with one another! Time enables movement, and Space a place to move to, so if I stretch both infinitely what happens?"
With no more need to hold back, Red Lotus unleashed one of the fruits of his research into Spacetime.
"The answer is spending an infinite amount of time to cross infinity," Red Lotus said with a smug smile, "And infinitely going everywhere is the same as going nowhere because you're everywhere."
A boundary had been created around the Myriad Year Flying Warship, though from the outside looking in the Myriad Year Flying Warship seemed to be frozen in Time, if one were to be inside one would see that it was travelling across an infinitely growing plane.
And hence, they appeared to be stationary, as they were traversing an infinity that was growing at the speed of infinity.
"Shit!" Wu Shuai cursed upon seeing Red Lotus's Endless Void, "If Red Lotus reaches the Dao Emperor level I wonder if even Primordial or Reckless can handle him."
The Endless Void was a seemingly unstoppable ability.
And it was only the tip of Red Lotus's potential, right now he only knew how to apply infinity, though rudimentary and sort of crude, but what happens once he can wield it, localise it or even just surround himself in it?
He would be untouchable!
"Great work," Star Constellation said, "Is it possible to interact with what's trapped in the Endless Void?"
Red Lotus shook his head, "He's trapped within the confines of Infinity as we speak but the moment I let even a hint of normal time flow in the entire space will collapse in on itself."
"Though I guess on the plus side that would destroy him irreversibly."
Star Constellation sighed, "A pity that it's only a Will in there, so nothing substantial would have been lost, I'm sure Fang Yuan has many ways to recover the Gu he lost, and in the worst case he'll just refine them again."
"That's why I rather trap it in there for eternity, that way Fang Yuan permanently loses access to those Gu, his Will, a few Variant Humans and Reputation Gu."
Star Constellation nodded, it was the best outcome they could hope for, they eliminated 2 threats and could now focus their attention elsewhere.
Using their mind link Star Constellation asked Red Lotus a secret question, "How long can you hold him there?"
Red Lotus replied, "Forever...as long as I don't exert more than 50% of my current strength."
"I see."
It was a conversation that happened less than the span of a nanosecond, yet the tiny glint and subtle movement were inescapable to AI Gu and Wu Shuai.
"Hmm, why would they have a secret mind link," spinning AI Gu to the point of near overheating, Wu Shuai got a satisfactory hypothesis, "He can't maintain Endless Void forever, the Immortal Essence and Dao Marks used in the Killer Move must be constantly in use thus, he either limits his strength to maintain the Move or he lets it go."
"But to confirm my hypothesis let's see how he battles from here on out."
Just as Red Lotus and Star Constellation were about to turn and join Heaven and Earth in their battle against Qing Chou and Spectral Soul.
"Hmph!" a loud snort was heard throughout the battlefield, "You really couldn't last until I made it here??? You're all so useless."
Before anyone could react a familiar voice sounded out, "You sure took your sweet ass time!"
Suddenly, a barrage of attacks caught the pair off guard, blasting them out of the sky!

The Armada started humming to life once again.
Red Lotus got the worst end since he was effectively half as powerful now, confirming Wu Shuai's suspicion.
"Well, that went better than expected." the familiar voice was now accompanied by a shiny head that could be seen on the deck of one of the still-standing General Gu Houses.
"How!?" Red Lotus and even Star Constellation were taken aback.
Daoist Countless Treasure was still alive!
And next to him was a young-looking girl, who looked no older than 14.
She was dressed in a rather unique attire that Fang Yuan would recognise as a magical girl outfit from his home world.
"Be honoured! The Sin Of Envy graces you with her presence." she held her left hand to her chest and stretched her right hand out for all to see.
