Bab 187: Chapter 2520 Wrath vs Gluttony
A quick scan was all it took for Red Lotus to know that this Spectral Soul was made entirely of Water Path Dao Marks!
The Water Spectral Soul roared violently and began bombarding Red Lotus.
"Spectral Soul! Come to your senses!" Red Lotus weaved between the torrential pillars of water barreling toward him, their pressure great enough to tear through mountains!
But Spectral Soul only roared in response!
"Can someone explain what's going on?!" Red Lotus transmitted his live situation to all his allies.
Back in Heavenly Court,
Starlight lit up and spun around Star Constellation's eyes as she began deducing what happened to Spectral Soul.
"I see," Deducing anything related to Fang Yuan was incredibly hard, not only was he protected by Rank 9 Heaven Path Killer Move that guarded against deduction, but he was also much stronger than anyone else in the world!
But Star Constellation was strong enough to reveal the plans of his clones and those close to him, "Spectral Soul has begun the process of transforming into a Prime Evil."

"A prime what?" was Giant Sun's response.
"Prime Evil," Heaven replied, "It was part of my plan to make Spectral Soul a powerful servant, I had conditioned his body into being able to withstand the might of 7 incredibly powerful Gus that form the basis of the Dao of Evil."
"The Seven Deadly Sins," Star Constellation continued from Heaven, "Spectral Soul's newest body is able to harness their power, it's why his entire body is able to grow extra, eyes, mouth, ears, hands, heads, legs and hearts!"
"They each correspond with the power of one of the sins." Star Constellation pointed out the aura emanating from Spectral Soul, "It appears he has the power of Glutonny Gu right now."
Genesis Lotus slammed a table, "That sneaky Fang Yuan! He must have given Spectral Soul a corrupted Gluttony Gu that resulted in causing him to lose control! And that fool Spectral Soul took it!"
"...actually him going insane like that is part of my programming," Heaven coughed as he admitted to the fact that he intentionally designed SPectral Soul to have no true control over his body, especially once any of the Seven Deadly Sin Gu were absorbed.
"And Spectral Soul didn't accept Gluttony Gu," Red Lotus added, "It was most likely forced upon him by the Thieveing Heaven clone known as Thesues."

"What!? Thieving Heaven is back?" the others all exclaimed, this meant that the last Venerable that had not made a play was revealing himself this late into the game!
"Could Limitless have something planned?" was something all the Venerables kept in the back of their mind, for if there was anyone else that worried them more than Fang Yuan, it was Limitless.
The Water Spectral Soul kept growing.
"Any suggestions?" Red Lotus asked, he had been bombarding Spectral Soul with Killer Move after Killer Move, but they never made any sustainable damage.
Star Constellation pondered, "Try a wide area effect Dao Killer Move."
"I would but I'm still tapped out from the last Dao Killer Move I performed and Spectral Soul isn't going to give me the time nor space to prepare one." Red Lotus responded, Dao Killer Moves weren't something one could just dish out whenever they wanted.
They required extreme preparation and Immortal Essence to complete.
Perhaps Fang Yuan is the only person in the 5 Regions who would us Dao Killer Moves like regular Killer Moves.
Killer Move after Killer Move kept landing and taking huge chunks of the Water Spectral Soul out, barely beating out the rate at which he is devouring the Eastern Sea's Water.
"Do you want good news or bad news?" Star Constellation asked.
"I could use some good news," Red Lotus said as he dodged another attempt at smothering him, from Sepctral Soul's thousand arms.
"The good news is, Gluttony Gu is only at Rank 8."

"That's a Rank 8 Gu!" Red Lotus was flaboughasted, "How is that good news?!??!"
"Wait till you hear the bad news," Genesis Lotus replied, gesturing to Star Constellation, who broke down the bad news.
"The bad news is that Gluttony Gu is self-refining and the more it devours the stronger it gets, and it will eventually reach Rank 9."

If a rank 8 Gluttony Gu could cause Red Lotus so much trouble, he didn't even dare imagine a Rank 9!
"Damn Fang Yuan, and damn Thesues!" Red Lotus cursed under his breath, "Any solutions?"
"One is heading to you right now."
At that moment, a golden ray of light shot straight down onto Spectral Soul, burning a large hole through his chest.
"I, Giant Sun Immortal Venerable, have arrived."
It was Giant Sun!
Standing high and mightily in the sky,
Red Lotus: "We're screwed."
"Hmph," Giant Sun snorted, "I gave up pursing the, possibly, real Wu Shuai to assist you. Show some gratitude."
Red Lotus just rolled his eyes, "And what do you have to stop him?"
"This!" Giant Sun pointed his hand toward Spectral Soul, in his nads was a newly acquired Rank 9 Gu
"Isn't that!" Red Lotus stared in shock
Dao Killer Move -------------- Karmic Hatred!
The sky above Spectral Soul turned crimson, as a slit tore apart, from it the anguish wails of the damned cursed out,
"SPECTRAL SOUL!!!"
Alongside the curses in the sky, was the Gu in Giant Sun's hand, the Gu was none other than Wrath Gu! (1)
And the voice belonged to none other than Qing Chou!
He had been convinced by Star Constellation to take on the form of Wrath Gu to better fight against Spectral Soul.
After much convincing he agreed and was picked up by Giant Sun on the way.
Qing Chou flew straight into the crack, his glwoing red light of hatred and anger could be seen shining though a beacon to all who cursed at the name Spectral Soul.
Bones as white as phosphorus began piling over Qing Chou, but his light never faded, instead it grew bigger and brighter, attracting more and more skeletons to join him.
Until his size rivaled that of Spectral Soul!
The skeletons piled ontop of Qing Chou to form an amalgamation made of porturding bones taking on a humanoid form.
But that wasn't the end, more notable and stronger figures began appearing amongst the skeletons, they contained phantoms overlaying their skeletons as death had not eroded their mark, and the call of Karmic Hatred reached out to them.
"I can assist there," Red Lotus smirked,
Immortal Killer Move ----------- Echoes Of Former Glory
A blueish beam entered the split in the sky and hit the amalgamation of skeleton, instantly flesh began regrowing all over, making the sight even more grotesque and unsightly.
But the aura of Qing Chou and the amalgamation rose even higher!
"I've returned these ancient grudges to their peak strength."
Water Spectral Soul turned to face the split in the sky, his thousand arms rearing to go, a battle between two Lords of Sin was about to transpire as the amalgamation finished assimilating the last of the damned, and took 1 step out of the slit in the sky.
[1] I changed the name of Hatred Gu to Wrath Gu since the Chinese Meaning is the same and it plays better to the whole 7 deadly sins thing
