"Logically this makes no sense," Great Dream thought to herself, "There isn't nearly enough Dream Path materials in the entire 5 Regions to craft a Dream Path Gu and the method…"
A lightbulb lit in Great Dream's mind.
"Hmph, it's a incomplete!" Great Dream snorted in disdain, "Using the power of Strong Gu to make up for the inadequacies of a True Rank 9 Dream Gu."
Indeed, Fang Yuan had not enough time nor Dream Path Materials to forge a full Rank 9 Dream Armor Gu.
Since he had some left-over Dream Realms from creating Pink Heaven, rather than letting dissipate he decided to use them plus all his Dream Path materials to bring Dream Armor Gu as close to Rank 9 as possible.
His plan was to keep it in an incomplete state until he could deduce the remaining recipe and fill it in with Order.
Yes, there was a secondary reason Fang Yuan wanted to refine Rank 9 Dream Armor Gu, it was to begin testing and experimenting with Order, the antithesis of Chaos.
What better way to see the shortcomings of Fang Yuan's Order refinement process than with a Gu that can only be completed using Order, after all, there are simply not enough Dream Path materials in the current Time Period, to refine a Rank 9 Dream Path Gu.
Great Dream pulled back her sleeves, "No matter, I'll just have to try harder then."
She clapped her hands together and begin rapidly making hand sigils.
"What is she-" before Fang Yuan could finish his thought, Great Dream finished her hand sigils and slammed them into the floor.
The entire prison began to shake.
"Not good!" Fang Yuan turned his attention to Meng Qiu Zhen for a split second, before his keen sense for danger kicked in and he relegated his attention back to Great Dream.
He barely had time to activate his defensive Killer Move.
Unfortunately, without Dream Armor Gu, Fang Yuan's Defense Killer Move was much less effective.
"Looks I can't hold back," Fang Yuan didn't have the time to split his attention between Great Dream and Meng Qiu Zhen.
For some reason, Fang Yuan couldn't see through Great Dream, she seemed to be ethereal and non-existent, yet his senses kept sending warning signals.
Dao Killer Move --------------- I Am The Supreme Of Heaven And Earth!
A Heptagram with a Taji symbol emerged behind Fang Yuan.
"Oh? To think he would upgrade the Heaven's dispose's Killer Move so fast…things have certainly derailed beyond the original timeline," Great Dream thought to herself, a smirk on her face.
Three simple words left her mouth, "Come at me."
Pink mist began enveloping her as it lifted her off the ground.

The site of the Competition was chosen to be the former Heavenly Court, the region was once completely devastated after the brutal war, but with 3 Venerables present it was no problem to restore…
Well at least the outward appearance…if one were to look closely, they would notice that the only formation that was setup was a Formation Concealment Formation…and all the grand gardens and resource points of Heavenly Court were either greatly reduced in proficiency or worse…reduced to mortal.
Heavenly Court was like a stack of cards that was ready to be toppled, but with 3 Venerables present the deception could be maintained.
"It's finally time to regain some of the loss reputation of Heavenly Court," Star Constellation laid out her plans to Genesis Lotus and Red Lotus.
"Are you sure?" Genesis Lotus inquired, "Wouldn't we lose what little reputation we have once the 5 Regions find out that Fang Yuan isn't going to be held captive for more than a week?"
"It'd be hard to lose anymore reputation consider our position," Star Constellation addressed his worry, "Fret not, the goal of this gathering isn't to gain the public's favor, its to remind them of the power and awe of Heavenly Court, but most importantly its to find a suitable avatar for Earth!"
"Yes, I know but did we have to lie to the 5 Regions? Even after all is said and done will they ever trust us again?"
Star Constellation chuckled, "What makes you think they trusted us in the past? Perhaps in my time there was still trust amongst comrades in war but once we reached Red Lotus? You? The Heavenly Court had lost the trust of the people long ago, we just hadn't lost their fear and respect."
"Now we don't even have that," Star Constellation sighed thinking back to the glory days of Heavenly Court, where no demon, not even all of them combined, would have shaken the foundations of Heavenly Court.
Now some random Demon's meteoric rise to power has upheaved that very same foundation.
It was really quite vexing!
3 million years of building! 3 million! Could you even fathom that number?
The numerous trials and tribulations that Heavenly Court had endured, the accomplishments that Heavenly Court had amassed.
The Sect system, overturning Variant Human's rule, establishing a haven for Humanity in the Central Continent, held 4 of the 11 Venerables under its banner, repelled 3 Venerables with no Venerables present and safeguarded Fate Gu for 3 million years.
A true colossal behemoth that had never been seen before…was toppled by a Demon who had the worst aptitude, the humblest of origins and only 500 years' worth of future knowledge, most of which is irrelevant by now.
This demon who was supposed to be a disposable pawn, somehow, managed to overturn the chess board and become one of the players.
Thinking of those series of events made Star Constellation want to laugh in anger, to the point of tears. It would be like establishing the world's richest company, handing it to your descendants and then when you came back you found it had all gone to shit!
It really makes one go on the brink of insanity.
"Oh?"
An exclamation from Genesis Lotus snapped Star Constellation out of her stupor.
"That's remarkable," Genesis Lotus conjured up a screen to show the other 2 his surprise.
Star Constellation and Red Lotus held up an eyebrow in surprise,
"So, who's going to meet him?"
At the border of the Northern Plains and Central Continent,
A burly man with golden mane like hair and a robust body, stood nonchalant in the air, his arms behind his back [1]
It was Giant Sun Immortal Venerable!
Next to him was a woman with jet black hair, her body was tempered but not bulging with muscles, yet it exuded and aura of strength and indomitability.
It was Hei Lou Lan.
The two stood there, seemingly waiting for someone.
"Ancestor," Hei Lou Lan was incredibly respectful to people of high authority, especially Giant Sun Immortal Venerable.
"Might I ask what we are doing here?"
"We are waiting for the Venerables of Heavenly Court."

Hei Lou Lan was a fearless person but even she could barely keep it together in the presence of a Venerable let along 3!
"M-might I ask why?" she stammered a bit but bit her tongue to calm her nerves.
"You will be representing the northern plain's Longevity Heaven in the competition for the era of geniuses."
