Bab 96: Chapter 2431 Reputation Gu and Giant Sun Team Up
Within the Void Sphere,
Primordial Origin, Paradise Earth, Star Constellation, Genesis Lotus and Red Lotus Demon Venerable have gathered around.
In the centre stood a tall Gate, it was golden and had motifs of dragons, tigers and dogs carved into it.
It stood tall and grand.
"Primordial," Red Lotus stood up, still gasping from the fight with Fang Yuan, "We had an agreement! Fang Yuan must die!"
"I can't maintain this Void Sphere for too long or we'll all fall out of sync with the main timeline." Red Lotus shouted.
Primordial stroked his beard: "Calm down Red Lotus, do you not still possess a Plan B and C? Either way, we would have failed to kill him here, so I accepted Paradise Earth's suggestion."
"This…" Red Lotus was tongue-tied, what Primordial Origin said was not entirely false.
Paradise Earth then spoke up, he did a little bow with his hands in front: "Sir Red Lotus truly has a magnanimous heart for people, the moniker of Demon Venerable is truly misplaced, I admire and am thankful for what you've done for the world, for that you have my eternal thanks, but my compassion goes out to all beings, even demons, one last chance is all I ask."
Red Lotus did not say no instead he asked: "Did Primordial show you what I was?"
Paradise Earth nodded.
"Then you understand what needs to be done if your plan fails?"
This time Paradise Earth had a hard time responding: "This…you have my word that I will assist to the best of my capability."
Red Lotus let out a tumultuous breath: "*Sigh* Fine then I shall take my leave here, after all, should he escape, we won't be able to contend against him within the Void Sphere, just having 6 Venerables is already straining the Sphere if we fight it'll just break allowing him to escape."
Before Red Lotus left, he turned to Primordial Origin: "I shall go oversee Plan B," he said as he looked toward Paradise Earth.
"Let's hope it'll be enough."
Saying that he vanished, with Red Lotus gone, the Star Constellation and Genesis Lotus of the past vanished as well.
"Sir Red Lotus is truly a man of great standing; I will have to thank him personally for doing all he can to extend the Void Sphere's duration." Paradise Earth noticed the pressure on the Void Sphere being greatly reduced, now that only 3 Venerables were present.
"If your plan works then we'll be the ones thanking you on behalf of all of Humanity," Primordial said.
"We can only hope." Paradise Earth responded.
Fang Yuan was going through the motions within the Subjugating Evil Through Atonement, he lived all the key moments of his time with Xie Han Mo, all the joys, the plots, and schemes, culminating in the final performance, the singing competition.
It was trivially easy for Fang Yuan to progress the plot of this story while secretly deducing in his mind the intentions of Paradise Earth and Primordial Origin:
"This Killer Move is incredibly profound, it traps the victim within an unbreakable Dream that can only take its course, yet unlike Dream Realms, there are no layers, it's one huge mini world. But the downside of this move is that you can't attack the victim, though I can assume that they've laid a trap for me outside, no matter,"
Fang Yuan cast his gaze into the sky.
Outside the Void Sphere,
Genesis Lotus was staring at 'Fang Yuan'
"No, you're not Fang Yuan, you're Reputation Gu!"
'Fang Yuan' merely smirked, raising his hand to launch various Killer Moves at Genesis Lotus.
"Hmph!" Genesis Lotus snorted as he used his Defensive Killer Move: "tch, a mere Gu wants to get past me? Dream on!"
Genesis Lotus thought to himself: "If I can capture and refine Reputation Gu that will only add to our power."
The biggest strength of Reputation Gu was the ability to use the Killer Moves of those she mimics, without the need for their Gu!
Effectively doubling one's own firepower.
But there were drawbacks,
Firstly, Reputation Gu could not mimic the quantity of Dao Marks, thus even though she was 'Fang Yuan' she did not possess his inhumane number of Dao Marks.
Secondly, Reputation Gu could only mimic Fang Yuan's famous Killer Moves, anything that he has not revealed to the world is inaccessible to her.
Though it should be mentioned that she can use Gu if she was provided it, Fang Yuan did not leave her with any.
"I wonder if Master is, okay? He said to just annoy Genesis Lotus but…" Reputation Gu was slightly lost in thought as she rained Killer Move after Killer Move on Genesis Lotus.
Reputation Gu's third weakness was that she required an insane amount of Immortal Essence to use, after all, to use the Killer Move of her target, she would also need to consume that amount of Immortal Essence.
Thankfully that was the least of Fang Yuan's concern, he had stockpiled so much Rank 9 Immortal Essence that if the other Venerables knew they would die of envy.
"Dammit!" Genesis Lotus was hard-pressed when he first saw how Reputation Gu was just flinging Killer Moves at him, he decided to wait it out so that he could capture her but after 5 Minutes of Peak Rank 8 moves being casually tossed and her showing no signs of slowing down Genesis Lotus grew worried:
"Does she have an endless supply of Immortal Essence? Did Fang Yuan succeed or was he gambling on the fact that he would succeed?"
Genesis Lotus's own Immortal Essence was being used to maintain this defence: "Damn, I can't dodge because if the Tether breaks the Void Sphere will be immediately pulled back and shatter as a safety precaution, but passively defending like this is wasting my Immortal Essence on just a Gu!? But I can't strike back too hard as I might destroy Reputation Gu as well!"
Genesis Lotus was racking his brain, but things turned from bad to worse when he heard:
"Oh? Genesis Lotus you're all alone? Mind telling me where Red Lotus and Star Constellation went?"
Genesis Lotus followed the sound of the voice and found none other than Giant Sun Immortal Venerable!
"Ugh," Genesis Lotus was now caught between a rock and a hard place: "Dammit! Fine! You lot forced my hand!"
Immortal Killer Move ---------- Enter A World Of Pure Imagination!
Genesis Lotus unfurled a giant scroll that circled around the entire battlefield, it then shone brightly and the 3 of them vanished.
In a blink of an eye, Giant Sun and Reputation Gu found themselves in the Painting World!
"Fascinating," Giant Sun rubbed his chin: "This Painting World makes use of Painting Path for sure, but it seems to also touch on Phantom, Space, Time, Earth, and Human Path as well as the all the elemental Paths!"
"Mhm," Reputation Gu nodded: "He is close to becoming a Dao Emperor."

Giant Sun turned to Reputation Gu shocked: "How do you know what a…"
"Watch out!" Reputation Gu activated 5 Defensive Killer Moves, blocking an intense heat ray, the Killer Moves just barely managed to buy enough time for Giant Sun to readjust his position.
The two turned to look at Genesis Lotus floating high in the air, the power of various Paths could be seen circulating around him.
He stood high and mighty, like a deity:
"In here I am the Law!" he folded his arms together
Immortal Killer Move ---------- Planet Befall!
Genesis Lotus had used this move before but within the Painting World it took on a whole another level of strength!
The once meteor sized attack had now scaled to the size of planets!
"Hmph!" Reputation Gu snorted.
Immortal Killer Move ----------- Daybreak Torrent x 5
Reputation Gu's move lacked the qualitative power that came from having innumerable Dao Marks, but where there is a gap in quality one can make up for it through quantity!
"Master often said: 'if 1 isn't enough then throw 3, if 3 isn't enough then throw 5!'"
Giant Sun was impressive with Reputation Gu's lack of inhibition when it came to using Immortal Essence:
"Either he has succeeded in gaining Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus or he was confident in completing it." Giant Sun made a similar conclusion as Genesis Lotus.
The godlike Genesis Lotus seemed unafraid by Reputation Gu's display: "Useless."
His voice reverberated across the world, he grasps his two hands together:
Immortal Killer Move ------------- World Origin Primordia Extinction!
A large chunk of earth from the ground began levitating as fire, water, lightning, wind, light, darkness combined.
"Incredible!" Giant Sun could see the true marvel behind the move: "This move is about to transcend a standard compound Killer Move this is a Dao Killer Move!"
Reputation Gu rolled her eyes: "Yea yea less gawking more stopping, that thing is a quasi-Dao Killer Move if he succeeds then kiss your ass goodbye, so we need to stop him now!"
There was slight panic in her voice, as she knew the power Dao Killer Moves possess:
"Hmph, freight not, he's not the only one with tricks up his sleeve,"
"What are you…"
A golden pillar, so tall that it connected Heaven and Earth together, erupted from Giant Sun Immortal Venerable.
The pillar then had rays of golden light erupt out, penetrating the sky, land, and people of the Painting world, but the light, despite being so bright, seemed to go unnoticed by the people, only Reputation Gu and Genesis Lotus could see them.
Even the ground did not interact with the light as it bore straight through as if it was just an illusion.
Quasi-Dao Killer Move --------- 10000 Years Of Fortune For 1000 Years Of Misfortune!
Instantly, a black light began to radiate out of Giant Sun and spread throughout the Gold Pillar, turning it and all its connections bad.
"Hmm?" Genesis Lotus was puzzled as the Giant Sun's killer move was so grand it rivalled or even surpass his own in terms of aura.
Yet nothing seemed to be happening.
But soon Genesis Lotus eyes turned bloodshot and he coughed a mouthful of blood: "You! You're poisoning this world with negative Karma!"
Across the Painting World, people were beginning to experience the effects of negative Karma, all their accumulated Luck was being overshadowed by negative Karma.
People began losing everything they held dear to them, some even developed mental demons or suffered such an intense backlash that they dropped a Rank!
The entire world was hurt, which in turn affected Genesis Lotus!
His Dao Killer Move crumbled away as it became infested with negative Karma as well.
Since Genesis Lotus was linked to the Painting World, his Karmic ties to it were inseparable.
But it wasn't all sunshine for Giant Sun as well, his face seemed pale: "Tch, the Dao of Karma isn't about equivalent exchange, doing Good deeds earns less Good Karma than Negative deeds giving Negative Karma!
Indeed, just as the name of the Killer Move suggested for every 10 Good Luck sacrificed, he could only give 1 Negative Karma!
But since Giant Sun Immortal Venerable had immense Luck Path foundations, he could still tolerate it.
