Ever since Fang Yuan learned that the Sovereign Fetus Gu needed to eat apertures of the same rank to feed itself, he had thought long and hard about how he was going to feed it once he reached Rank 9.
After all that would imply that Fang Yuan would have to eat a Venerable's, Grotto Heaven.
Since the Crazed Demon Cave Fang Yuan has left Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable's body untouched.
But now he would have to enact his plan of bringing Paradise Earth to the Venerable level to consume his aperture.
The problem lay in Fang Yuan's low attainment in Heaven path, Paradise Earth rebirth was through Heaven Path thus, to annex his aperture would require at least a Great Grandmaster level attainment in Heaven Path.
Fang Yuan, however, had a way to grow his Heaven Path attainments, Dream Realms!
The Heaven Path Dream realm that Meng Qiu Zhen had just about finished digesting the results from the Heaven Path Dream realm, pushing Fang Yuan to Quasi-Great Grandmaster, with just a month or so Fang Yuan would become a Great Grandmaster of Heaven Path.
In Longevity Heaven
A single figure sat on a throne with a sea of blood in front of him.
The figure was encased in golden lights; naturally, it was Giant Sun Immortal Venerable.
On the surface he was the most overlooked venerable, he had neither the ferocity of Spectral Soul, the craftiness of Star Constellation, or the shamelessness of Fang Yuan. He was just lucky.
But Luck Path had always been about influencing the unseen, take the revival of Fei Wu for instance, of the countless descendants that Giant Sun had he seemed to be the worse one to have revived.
His strength was mediocre, and he had caused the downfall of his entire clan! On the surface.
In reality, he was just the victim of bad luck, his clan had invested all their effort and resources, bringing Gu house, moving to a remote location and, even feigning internal discord, all in an attempt to obtain Unified Essence Yi Qi Zi!
Or take Light Emperor for example, although his strength was decent it pales in comparison to what he brought Giant Sun, Rank 9 Light Gu!
The foundational Gu of an entire Path! And the Gu was already Rank 9!
If he could help Light Emperor reach Rank 9 status Longevity Heaven would have 2 venerables which would be a huge advantage!
And now Giant Sun was receiving the same Luck path intuition that brought him those 2!
Immortal Killer move --------- Destined Birth Through Luck
The Blood Seas levels began to drop, since the last time Giant Sun revived someone the Blood Sea had become closer to becoming a true Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth.
Nevertheless, Giant Sun was willing to increase the time it would take to achieve things in the short-term for now; he had enemies everywhere and who knows if more were to come, he had to be prepared!
The Blood Sea was tumultuous, waves raged, and a whirlpool was formed sucking in vast amounts of the Blood Sea.
Giant Sun frowned: "This reaction is much greater than the other 2 the Blood Sea dropped by half!"
But Giant Sun was also expectant, because of the reaction the Blood Sea was giving off.
The whirlpool and waves ceased raging and from the pool, a figure emerged gave of Rank 6 aura!?
The figure was a guy of petite build and had a very elegant demeanor and incredible soft-looking skin. He looked frail and someone who had been pampered their whole life.
"Father is there some mistake? How can your killer move bring forth this girl? She won't even be able to look the other venerables in the eye before dying." Light Emperor exclaimed.
He had not inspected the boy and thus, assumed it was a girl.
The boy stood there fearlessly looking up at Giant Sun Immortal Venerable!
Although his frame and body looked weak, Giant Sun could see in this boy's eyes a fire a fearlessness that shook even him!
The boy looked at himself and at his reflection: "Hmph what is with this weak body."
Seemingly dissatisfied with his body he began to do push-ups to train his strength, in front of Giant Sun Immortal Venerable!
"YOU….do you know who's presence you're in? Let alone myself you should be groveling before father how dare you just ignore our existence, who even are you?"
The boy stopped and turned to look at Light Emperor, the look in his eye intimidated Light Emperor who subconsciously took a step back despite being 2 realms higher.
"Who are you?" Giant Sun's voice became filled with grandiose to try and diminish the radiance surrounding the little boy.
The boy laughed.
"Ha junior you're about 700,000 years too early to try and intimidate me!"
Before Giant Sun could continue the boy shouted: "HA"
*Boom*
The walls surround Longevity Heaven started to shake; Giant Sun used his strength to suppress the effect with more confusion shrouding his face: "Who exactly are you!"
This time he put more strength in and caused the boy to stagger back while coughing out blood.
"As expected of a venerable I still can't quite match it yet." A tattoo on the back of the boy started to glow.
Rank 9 aura soon started to fill the room.
"Who am I? I am the coolest venerable to have ever existed, Reckless Savage Demon Venerable!"
Immortal Totem Killer Move ---------- Legends Are Forever!
The boy's body began to swell, and he began to grow bulging muscles, his face grew sharp and seasoned his aura was elevated to Rank 9.
Reckless Savage had been reborn!
Giant Sun was immensely upset, not only was a new venerable born through the expenditure of his resources but, it was also one of the most lunatic venerables in existence. There was no doubt that Reckless wasn't here to play mind games and slowly expand no he was going to stir up trouble among the contest of the 4 Venerables and he might even be the first one to be on the receiving end.
As Reckless reached the peak of his strength and tensions were starting to get high. His muscles and might, dissipated in an instant.
"HAHA, no need be so uptight Giant Sun I come in peace." Reckless laughed.
"Hmph, I'd rather you didn't come at all I want to know a few things how did you hijack my Blood Sea? Why are you here, how did you emit Rank 9 strength, and most importantly give me a good reason not to kill you right now!"
Giant Sun was displaying the strength of a Venerable while Reckless was only emitting the aura of a Rank 6.
"Firstly, you forget although I may be one that prefers a fight, I'm not a muscle-brained idiot. I took Wisdom path as my secondary."
Giant Sun did a double-take in his head as if he couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"What's that look for, hmph, its true during my time I was probably the strongest Wisdom path cultivator alive, after all, even if my attainment wasn't the highest, I still had the greatest amount of Wisdom path Dao marks in the world!"
It then dawned upon Giant Sun: "Transformation path!"
"Hehe that's right I spent a whole year deducing the future to a level of precision Star Constellation could only achieve during her time and she already did most of the hard work for me, I just needed to play my cards accordingly, and, voila I snuck into your Huang Jin Bloodline."
"Next, of course, I knew that by the time it reached your era it be highly unlikely that my bloodline would have the talent that they initially had, so I combined my knowledge on Totem path killer moves with the ability to Refine Gu through birth and created a method that refined a Totem killer path into a Tattoo, allowing me to be born with it."
"This killer move is particularly unique as it allows me to draw upon the other rebirth methods I had in place and uses, Rank 9 Reputation Gu as part of its source."
"But I don't sense Reputation Gu on you?" Giant Sun's investigation killer moves only revealed Reckless to be Rank 6 but he couldn't trust it after knowing that Reckless could hide his Rank 9 aura.
"Hehe, that's because Reputation Gu is in Heaven!"
"How can that be? Giant Sun was very curious.
"Reputation Gu is a Heaven Path Gu worm, to begin with, but it is not controlled by Heaven, it impartially records the reputation of every living being in the world. To use Reputation Gu, one must have the highest reputation in the world."
"Then wouldn't Fang Yuan be able to use it? Imagine what he would do with a Rank 9 Gu he might even refine it for himself." Giant Sun immediately thought of the implications.
"Relax it's not that easy, first there are too many Venerables in the world currently Reputation Gu will only choose an absolute winner. Even though Fang Yuan's reputation might be the grandest amongst the venerables, it's not like the other venerables are slouches either the gap is not great enough." Reckless explained.
"Then how come you can still use it?"
"Because I created a bad reputation when I was alive, I was acclaimed throughout the land, I even wore the skin of my enemies, firstly, because it was a sign of triumph but mostly because it would add to my reputation."
"So, using my encounter with Reputation Gu I used its power to engrave the Totem Killer Move ---------- Legends Are Forever! As long as my Reputation still exists, I can access my strength from that period, although the effects aren't permeant, and its duration is based on how my reputation stands currently."
"So, if you enter the public eye once again you would be able to access your past strength for longer?" Giant Sun asked.
"Yup."
Immortal Killer Move ------------ Soft Gold Crushing Pillar
Recap: Unified Essence Yi Qi Zi was mentioned in 2 chapters 2297 and 2298. He was an Immemorial Desolate Beast formed from the 3 Qi, Earth, Heaven and Human. Basically, he is a lump of Qi that was given intelligence by a Beastman back in Primordial Origin's era. His whole thing is that because he is the unification of all 3 Qi, he is basically constantly undergoing immortal ascension, thus, he can obtain natural inspiration from Heaven constantly, when he's sane, see the thing is immortal ascension requires a lot of focus if the balance between the 3 Qi is of the Gu immortal will die, but for Yi Qi Zi imbalance just makes him insane, so he no longer obtains natural inspiration but rather Immortal essence stones and that's how Heavenly Court has issued out immortal essence stones all these years through Yi Qi Zi, but now he's in the hands of Giant Sun, and over the years there were tons of Rank 8 Immortal essence stones in Yi Qi Zi, remember that in history there have been no Rank 7 Immortal essence stones being sent out from Heavenly Court, I suggest you re-read that chapter if you still don't understand who this Immemorial Desolate Beast is. But all you need to know is, he is the one responsible for the creation of Immortal Essence Stones; and Heavenly Court is responsible for their distribution.

zulbucks I think I should start setting a schedule on what time I should release a chapter that way I will be more inclined to work during set hours, the thing is that it's hard to find time during my internship to write so I end up having to write really late at night. Anyway, this chapter is setting up a few things but, it has quite a lot of background from the original that I am trying to incorporate such as Reckless's totem killer moves and Yi Qi Zi.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
