If rage is the dark horse vengeance rides in on, then fury of retribution is the steadfast calmness between each clash of thunder.

Laying witness to the indignation of Mercy's capture ignites a brewing storm to simmer just under the surface of Ambrose's resolve. Back in the tall grass, he longed to join the fight, to help free her and the man accompanying her. But to do so at the time, would have only resulted in her capture anyway, and possibly hastened his demise.

The terrain, while different in some ways, still had a familiar feel to it. Using the tall grass in the field out by the side of the castle entrance, afforded him with the opportunity to access the side gate to the garden undetected.

With ease, he had slipped past the guards, and roamed freely in the garden, inching his way closer to the castle wall, where he found a point of entry.
