Chapter hundred and twenty six: As good as I can be.

Jamie looked around the new Queen's Chamber and it looked the same but still somehow it was different. It had the same large bed with green veils descending from the support above the bed. Jamie took a step closer and tied the veil to the sides. 

The veil was soft and her hand lingered just a little bit longer. The room looked like it was decorated by a woman. Her former bedchamber didn't have veils.

Jamie lay on the bed and stared at the roof. Unlike her former bed chamber, this new room was devoid of fading stars on the roof. It was just empty.

Jamie knew she should ring for food or at least a bowl of broth but she was too tired to. She was exhausted.
