Chapter forty six: unpleasant

Alexander watched as the pack pushed the canoe containing their Luna into the river. The Alpha Luna took the bow and the burning arrow and she shot it in the air and it landed inside the canoe.

Alexander was startled when they started howling as they watched their Luna go up in flame. He was suddenly exhausted. He watched the fresh batch of blood emerge from the cut on his thumb.

King Alexander participated in the blood passage with the rest of the Moon pack as their king.

The blood passage is when the Alpha and his pack takes turn placing their blood on the white scarf near the Luna to send her peacefully to the afterlife. 

Alexander watched as the rest of his pack retreated into the woods to howl even more. Rosemund stood by his side as he performed his duties as Alpha King.

"What happens to us, now?" Semeen's voice startled the princess. Alexander merely turned and looked at her.
