Bab 39: Marcus's choice

  The King sat in the throne room with the council, discussing matters of the kingdom. The vampires had been spotted crossing the borders of Zayion. They were threatening the safety of the werewolves. 

As the king, it was his duty to maintain peace and order in his kingdom. That is why he had decided to invite the king of Nagrak the vampire kingdom to visit Zayion to speak on the matter. 

It made a difference to him even if one life of his people was in danger. As long as he remained king, he wanted to spread peace and serenity all around to his people. 

Today was the day that the vampire king would arrive at the palace. He was anxious and nervous about hosting a guest in his palace at that time. His house wasn't at all in order. 

He hadn't seen Marcus since he woke up and the senior queen was acting very strangely. His other queens chose to stay far away him to avoid angering the senior queen.
